The Bloomin' Onion might be the greatest food invention ever made.

Hard to go wrong at Outback I agree.

I agree, I just don't consider it low priced.

Depends on what you get. In any case, it's not as expensive as a steak joint Downtown or in River North somewhere.

I have heard of this place and think they have them up here. I will have to give this a try.

Amore Mio on Palatine Road in Hoffman Estates is excellent. Definitely more mom and pop.

As I've mentioned, I live about a block away from the TGI Fridays in Oak Park.....food has always been good, just the service is iffy...sometimes good, sometimes bad.

And guys like Scorehead will be turned off by the amounts of "those people" that come from the west side to get a bite to eat.

If he is juggs it explains why he likes to play with them

If you are in Barrington try McGonigals for Irish or the Onion pub and grill for a steak. No Itallian in that area that is of worth note. There is some decent Itallian in Crystal Lake and Algonquin.

Dont go for Italian in that area. If you want Italian, you go to Italian neighborhoods that are no longer Italian. Ristorante Augostino. Diversey and Harlem. Best Italian ever.

There are better places, but you really can't go wrong with any of the Francesca's anywhere. Fresh ingredients, constantly changing menus, good service, good wine lists.

I haven't heard a bad thing about them. I might have to go and check them out for lunch if they are open that early

Thanks IMU. Toscana looks perfect. Decent yelp reviews as well. Winner Winner

Boyd gave me a really good place I took a woman on the first date but don't remember what it was called
if you need another option. It was some of the best Italian food I have had in a long time. Just did a quick
look up.... Giannis I think is what it was called. I am sure you will be fine either way.

Ended up going to Giannis. Pretty good. Their menu is HUGE which always makes me nervous. Definitely the type to prefer they do 10 dishes great than 40 mediocre, but I was happy with the meal.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations

Bapi on Hintz has very good food. My Guy, Christiano, owns the place and used to be a chef at Carlucci's.

Food is great but the place is small and not so much on ambience.

Tell him Dr. Ken sent you!
