Who cares about the Hall of Fame? There are so many undeserving players in there, who gives a fuck.

Its should just be the Cooperstown Museum

I think if in 50 years someone was touring a baseball museum, a Jamie Moyer plaque would be cool for people to read about.

Obviously, he's not close to an elite player how the hall of fame was originally intended

I think a baseball museum is better. There are a ton of guys in sports who werent elite but were vital and a big part of the leagues history

Isn't it already something like that though? I mean, you always hear about stuff being given to the Hall of Fame for them to display and it often has nothing to do with a hall of fame player.

Yeah might as well just drop the whole "elite players" thing. I mean Ron Santo??, Ozzie Smith?? Not Pete Rose???

But I think some players who may not have been hall of fame elite level should be celebrated.

Like the Mad Hungarian or Turk Wendell or Jose Lind or Andy Van Slyke or Rod Bek

If he gets to 300 wins, while pitching at til 50 and/or 51, I think that is an HOF feat.

He's almost 50 already, isn't he? I think he's about 30 wins short. If he pitches his ass off, I'd give him 12 wins a year. It would still take him three seasons. I can't see how he could do it, but I guess stranger things have happened.

An original Cub guy. I think it was GM Jim Frey that dumped him because he was a "soft tosser".
