Cubs off to an impressively bad start in every category imaginable. Cardinals are good as always.

Reason to watch? Starlin Castro with a 10 game hitting streak. That's all I got. Lucky to win 1.

I know. The motivation to keep doing these is going to be declining quickly here. Want to at least make it through April

Every game that Clevenger doesnt start is like a knife to my stomach. Luckily Hank Jr's first game fell on a glorious Clevenger start which quite natrually was a win.

He will clear waivers and make it to Iowa.
Swaimer needs to stop automatically putting the big vajay in the lineup. Clevenger should get 2 starts out of every 5 games at least....not 1.

Game 1 looks like the most likely opportunity for a win and Cub fans should hope Garza has a good game-yo raise his trade value. As perhaps their #1 trading chip (which they would consider moving-unlike Castro, Rizzo or Jackson) they need Garza to perform well in the 1st half-particularly against good teams.

Mather is an interesting cat. He can play quite a few positions. He is much more valuable to have than Al Boreland.

Both guys that were written off as AAAA players before getting a decent look. Mather got a more of a look than LaHair but still not much of one.

Tampa newspapers are speculating that the Rays would be looking at Soto soon.
