The Thunder will most likely get there but the Lakers are my sleeper pick.

I wouldn't count out the Lakers either, even though Ron Artest won't be there at the start thanks to that elbow he gave the Thunder's James Harden Sunday. Privately, the folks at ABC would love to have an NBA Final with LeBron & Kobe. It means ratings and the casual fan who doesn't follow the NBA might actually watch.

Tightwad, not Bugtussle.

The Grizzlies might have home court in Round 1 vs. the team that doesn't win the Pacific. Right now, that team appears to be the Clippers.

I don't think it's mental by any means, but I saw this with Jason Goff on Twitter & Aggrey Sam on CSNChicago.com yesterday. TNT's Craig Sager reported this during the Bulls/Heat game Thursday, and yesterday, this appeared:

I'm riding with the Knicks. They were my team to watch going into this season, and I'm rooting for an upset. The Knicks did it in 1999 as a #8 seed and they knocked off the #1 seeded Heat. They did it then and they can do it now.

OKC, the Knicks have something called momentum as the NBA Playoffs draw closer & closer.

Bulls beat San Antonio in the only matchup this year. Also the East is pretty much wrapped up tonight since the big 3 are not playing for Miami.

Bulls are #1 seed in East.

Knicks or 76ers. Don't matter.

Piss on the Knicks and people who think they can win 3 or 4 out of 7 against the Bulls.

I think the 76ers are a better matchup for the Bulls. If anything the Knicks could give Miami up to 6 games. Anthony is a ball hog, but he could put up 50 with ease and he is one of the most clutch players at the end of games. The 76ers play great defense, but they have no stars.

Steve Popper ‏ @StevePopper

NBA source says Knicks will start Saturday no matter who they play - Miami gets prime game 3:30 Saturday, Bulls the 1 o'clock start.

Popper is an East Coaster, so play it safe and Wake/Bake/Watch at NOON on Saturday.

If you put 2 & 2 together, this is what it means. Bulls' playoff opener tips at Noon on ESPN nationally and Comcast SportsNet locally, regardless if it's the Knicks or 76ers. The Heat's opener vs. the #7 seed will be seen on ABC at 2:30p (CT).
