I will gladly help him pack.

This is a glorious development. I hope there is some truth to this speculation.

We need Soto gone as soon as possible. Every day that he starts is a day that the world goes without Clevenger. We as a society can simply not allow that to happen.

So with Clevenger hitting like a machine...is Castillo still projected as 'the guy?'

Not if you want to win a world series. Clevenger is the key to a title.

Clevenger was actually better in the minors than Castillo. On top of that, Castillo has a reputation of a horrible game caller. At this point, especially if he continues to hit, Clevenger is the guy.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd and no one out. Strikeout, Strikeout, big vajay is pitched around to get to the pitcher and then a popup by shark to end it. At least he made contact. I only have the box score so that was either some shitty fundamental hitting or Wainwright was filthy with his pitching.

Barney should be kicked in the stones for not making contact. There's no excuse for that. If he is going to be an everyday player, which I doubt he is long term, he needs to be smarter. He's needs to try to be more David Eckstein and less Jeff Kent. Put the bat on the fucking ball when the situation calls.

Big Vajay, that's a hoot.

Over/under when, even though Campy looks like he should be able to bunt, Sveum figures out that he really can't bunt?

Samardzija has been a nice surprise, so far. However, I think it's all smoke and mirrors.

I would have left him in here.

Ya...that seems odd. He had 2 outs, only had thrown 9O pitches and had the 8 and 9 batters due up.

Great AB by Al Boreland right there. He comes off the bench and swings at the first pitch and pops it up to the catcher. Way to see the pitcher there AL.

What makes you think it is smoke and mirrors?

He was pretty solid last year out of the pen.

He has had 2 good starts and 2 not so good starts. He has 1 more K than innings pitched. If he can locate all his pitches I think he will be fine. He has come a long way since the beginning of last season.

Sounds like a cooking term.

You need to Marmolize the onions in butter before adding the cream...
