I didn't see the questionable play, but whatever...shouldn't have let it get to that point...

My main point though...I was at a bar with a friend of mine last night watching the game, and holy fuck if that wasn't one of the most insufferable sports viewing experiences I've ever had.

Everyone else in the joint were Cub fans...good baseball people from what I could tell...but I saw a side of my friend that I never had before...full on Cardinal meatball.

After the third or fourth time that she yelled at the tv asking when the last time the Cubs had won a world series, I had to turn to her and tell her to chill the fuck out and stop being so damn bitter for a regular season game in April.

I know a lot of those meatballs.

Props to you for telling her to chill out.

Mike Shannon still?

I'd say that's probably the most logical thing you've heard on that broadcast today, no?

 Yeah Mike Shannon still, but his partner John Rooney is the one who made the statement, but Shannon quickly agreed.

Nice 6 pitch inning by Lynn. What happened to forcing the pitcher to throw a few extra pitches?
