I always tip well. Partly because I worked as a waiter at a country club in my younger days so I remember how it was to make BELOW minimum wage and depend on gratuity. To Insure Proper Service.(TIPS). 15% minimum even if service is subpar unless I am just ignored totally. Then they get a dollar. Usually 25% anywhere we go to sit down, order and eat. They remember. We go to a breakfast place called Riverside and the waitresses fight to wait on us because they know even if my nine year old daughter is being a total fuckstick and I am on two hours of sleep and a grouchy asshole they are gonna get paid damn well.

Tip owners normally but spend more money than you normally might, for some reason it seems better. Ask mcbride he might just want the tip.

I am very disappointed by the lack of humor and effort in this response.

Eddie told me it did. It was before we even took the stage. Ed didn't know who the guy was he was peeing next to... and he tells ed, "I'm the Jesus Drummer" and ed's like "yahuh..." and he then asked ed if he wanted his autograph. I was under then impression this was a double dork touching moment (in which 90% of men DO NOT speak).

I didn't know he asked for autographs. I remember SSE telling me that the drummer kept asking him if he "looked just like Jesus" while they were both at the urinal.

Either way, very strange and

Another question...

What about when tipping is included... such as an all inclusive resort? Do you still tip even though you paid for tips?

I'd say tip those who are actually doing something good for you like if they are bringing you drinks all day.

Since most of those are in other countries, I kind of assume that they could use that dollar or two a lot more than I could.

Tip $8-$10 for a haircut???

That is insane. I pay $10 for a haircut, and I am supposed to basically double what the guy gets?

Yeah I think not.

I go to Sportclips. (Hi Ben!) The same cute Girl has been cutting my hair for years so I tip her well.

I like to tip well with people who don't make a lot of money, & many of these people are single Moms who need the money more than I do. There is a local buffet that my in laws like to frequent, & despite the fact that it is a buffet, the servers work there ass off & are very attentive. I give them $10 every time.
If you are fortunate enough to earn a decent living, some of it should be shared with those who don't.

I would never expect anyone to tip for carryout like others have said carryout people get paid more
and if anyone should get the tip its the cooks, they did all the work.
When I worked at Chili's we would do a lot of party platters for the pharmacy company's and the tips went right
to the cooks.
I would never expect anyone to tip me and have given tips back. Plus my serving skills have slipped quite a few notches :drunken:
We have that eight or more thingy on our menus but only I can put it on so when servers ask I usally talk them out
of it cause i can think of only 1 time since I owned the joint someone didn't get at least 20%

$ 5 for haircuts and nothing for coffee

If it's a place like Katie's and Mcbrides is throwing us a few beers here and there(which he always does) I try and tip the bartender Eric more. That and I'm sure I'm probably a bit drunk. :D

That's not the bartender.

It's a certain bored member taking liberties with you.

I don't tip carry out, I don't tip at Starbucks (nobody is getting a buck for pouring my $2.50 cup of coffee).

My baseline for tipping is 20%

Blow me away, and you get more.

If you're average, you're getting 20%

Piss me off and it's going down...don't suck at your job if you want to feed yourself and get gas.

I usually tip carryout because I feel like a cheap bastard to cross out the tip and write $0 on the receipt.

If I get a freebie, I add the cost to the tip. NOBODY OWNS ME!!!
