I am fine with Marmol never closing for the Cubs again....but this wasn't really a save situation so thats why he wasnt in to fuck it up.

One bad inning. Everyone has them, he was cruising until then.

He lacks control. Period. 8.2 IP, 9 BB, 2.08 WHIP. Long reliever/spot starter on a shit staff.

Carlos Marmol... can't even save a game with a five run lead.

Edit: he got lucky.

Marmol needs to get a bs DL trip so he can go down to the minors and relearn how to pitch.

I'm still waiting for the Turner/Crosby trade with the Tigers.

i have seen enough of wells too...the guy is exactly that a mop up duty or spot starter on an awful staff..he still better than camp and lopez .... garza is exactly who most thought he would be..a good a.l. pitcher becomes a very good n.l. pitcher ..would be great to get some young arms back for him.

Why is Dewitt on this team? He got cut...somehow made it back and is hitting .087. That guy they picked up from the Blue Jays after the spring who is in AAA is better than Al Boreland.

Soto is have a hell of a night at the plate as usual.

Good thing Castro and LaHair are in the lineup or it would damn near be a no hitter.

I agree. Get Cardenas up here and launch DeWitt. Soto can be launched too once they get a decent offer from a desperate team.

I am surprised that "DWARF" Keyser failed to mention that his beloved White Sox Star Adam Dunn leads all of MLB in

STRIKEOUTS

Adam Dunn 34
Jordan Schaeffer 29

and tied for 7th
Brett Morel 26

But don't forget that Eddie "The Walking Man" Yost clone

at the bottom of the Base on Balls list

Dyan Viciedo 1 in 69 PA

even Soriano has more walks
