All I can say is he's ahead of those slow, tiny, and white guys from the 60s.

Urlacher or Seau? Who is the better player?

I'd have to go with Urlacher, even without Bears bias. Urlacher not only gets to the QB, but makes intereceptions and is all over the damn place.....pretty close though.

Urlacher. Man I don't think it's all that close. What was it... '10 that he was hurt in that first week MNF? You see what that defense was like without him.

Seau had a couple good years, but Urlacher's a franchise cornerstone who's virtually never had a bad season, barring the wrist injury year.

Yeah I'd definitely say Urlacher. Seau's longevity in the legue was impressive though.

12 consecutive Pro Bowls would indicate to me Seau had more than a couple good years. Essentially 20
years in the league at that position is pretty incredible.

Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Not saying Seau wasn't good, but Urlacher is better.

I'm sure it was impressive on his brain too.

Seau, but just barely, and the comparison is tough because while they were both linebackers they played very different styles.

I do appreciate the change in attitudes on Urlacher though, who went from overrated stat-stuffer to consensus hall of famer in a year or two. About damn time.

I don't think it's a stretch to put him in a Top 20 list.

Hard to say really. Seau doing his custody exchanges at Jack-in-the-Box as opposed to various tollway oases might just give him the edge vs Urlacher.
