But when he's on he's unhittable!

Might as well let him be unhittable in Des Moines at this point.

smart at bat by Ludwick. Didn't swing on 6 pitches. If each player does that, I give them a 75% chance of winning the game. Marmol will walk everyone.

I am not sure why anyone ever swings when Marmol pitches. Make him strike you out looking. VERY good chance of getting walked.

Poor Dempster. I would guess he is ready to strangle Marmol

I think its safe to never put Marmol in again at this point. Might as well let Lendy Castillo close games.

Marmol-lite is better at the moment. From the cubicle, I would agree with you and Spanky. Wasn't sure if there was something else going on I couldn't see.

Maybe move Shaun Camp into the saver role. He has good control and might get the job done on a consistent basis. At least TRY something else. This Sveum isn't winning any popularity contests with a lot of his decisions.

2012 is the new 1997.
Marmol is the new Mel Rojas.

Sorry Mr. Reason. Hope the memories don't put you over the edge.

I wanted to punch Marmol when he did his little clown act after getting a single save last night.

Looking for Buffone's pencil to stick in my neck. For the record, I've had three concussions.

Jeff Passan ‏ @JeffPassan
Marmol (v.): to explode in spectacular fashion. In a sentence: "They marmoled that old building. Synonyms: implode, melt down, combust

On the bright side, the Cubs big 3: Dempster,Garza & Jeff_S. is doing a fantastic job.
Maholm has improved. I think it's time to bring up Rizzo to help this offense. Move DeJesus to CF and stick LaHair in RF (and pray).

Its also time put Marmol out of his and our Misery. He has to go away. You can not just keep putting a guy out there who is terrible 4 out of every 5 times he pitches.

He's walked 25.5% of batters he's faced. Wow.
