i don't even think dewitt is anything special with his bat, barney is better at the plate and the field...i would prefer barney a utility bench player that rarely starts.

Minor shoutout to the Cubs for allowing both Travis and Kerry Wood to have "Wood" on their uniforms (instead of making them go with "T. Wood" and "K. Wood"). I hate when teams add the initial.

Wood is not missing any bats today. He is going deep into counts and they are fouling everything off. He is already at 51 pitches with no one out in the 3rd.

I have been following the game online. Did I read this right? Shark pinch hits and they hit him to load the bases and then walk in the winning run? :lol:

That sounds like the way the Cubs lose a game, not how they win one

Travis did not look great to start off today but he hung in there and put them in a position to be able to win. I love that he can actually swing the bat and run the bases as well.
