Amazing how they can just turn it on whenever they want. MSG is dead-silent, and they're probably gonna start booing in a second. Fuck this shit.

Miami has a free ride to the Finals. Hopefully OKC or San Antonio stops em.

San Antonio will beat them. NY is probably the worst team in the playoff field. Nothing Miami does to them is all that impressive IMO.

I really thought the Knicks would give the Heat more of a series than they've shown to this point. Interim head coach Mike Woodson hasn't helped his chances to get the interim tag removed, and New York fans, like it or not, will seek someone to point the finger for their team likely getting swept Sunday in the second game of an NBA/ABC twinbill in Game 4. I bet Knick fans will point the finger at A'mare Stoudemire & Carmelo Anthony for their team's demise. It may not seem fair, but it's the brutally honest truth.

It's completely fair.

Melo's offsense in 3 games:
Game 1: 3/15 - 11 Pts
Game 2: 12/26 - 30 Pts
Game 3: 7/23 - 22 Pts

He's shooting 34% in the playoffs. I've got no problem pointing the finger at him.

That deal with the Nuggets a couple years ago. Not looking so good...

As if Hawks' head coach Larry Drew doesn't have enough to worry about, Yahoo! Sports NBA scribe Adrian Wojnarowski Tweets Atlanta F Josh Smith is out tonight for the Hawks' Game 3 matchup with the Celtics in Boston. Smith's knee, injured late in the Game 2 loss, is "too sore". Smith hopes to be available Sunday night in Game 4. This series is tied at 1-1 and Rajon Rondo returns tonight from his one-game suspension. As for Ray Allen and his ankle...Don't know.

The Hawks already won their token first round game. Their 2012 destiny has been fulfilled.

last night during the Thunder-Mavs game Webber was saying how this 1st round has been so great and how he's so looking forward to the next round
I was thinking this years playoffs has been the worst playoffs in years
first of all the injuries: first of all Rose and Howard which has pretty much debilitated 2 entire teams. Then there's Noah, Lin, Amare, Josh Smith, Horford, Ray Allen..
then the bad series: Heat-Knicks will be a sweep. Mavs-Thunder was decent but Mavs outmatched, sweep. Bull-Sixers brutal without rose. Pacers-Magic brutal as is but even moreso without Howard. Jazz-Spurs terrible series and a likely sweep. Celtics-Hawks OK but marred by injuries and Lakers-Nuggets OK but yea....Clips-Grizz has really been the best series of the 1st round

hopefully will get better next round but i doubt Sixers-Celtics/Hawks and Heat-Pacers are going to be thrilling. Thunder-Lakers could be good, and Spurs-Clips/Grizz will probably good.

basically, this sucks.

only thing you can really hope for as far as a great matchup now is Thunder-Heat Finals

Thanks SHARK

Im still rooting for a Spurs-beating-anybody Finals when the Bulls get eliminated.

Agreed. Spurs would stuff their transition game and then easily out execute them in a halfcourt game. No way Miami could steal more than two of those. Spurs/Celtics might be interesting though....

Either way, the Spurs/Lakers WCF will be the de facto Finals this year.

Which would be a worse finals matchup:

76ers/Spurs or Coyotes/Devils?

 I apologize for probably getting the series wrong. The Grizz are the better team but can't deal with Chris Paul's 5th gear. If the Clips keep the game close and Vinny doesn't fuck up they'll win every time.

At least I could tell you who starts for those teams. 8)

Edit: just noticed you passed on making predictions for the playoffs buddy. Sucks for Douchebag, he was looking forward to the cheat sheet.

Mike Bibby & Toney Douglas...Those are the remaining healthy point guards on the Knicks' roster after it was revealed that Baron Davis tore BOTH the MCL & ACL in his knee in Sunday's Game 4 New York win over Miami. They already lost Iman Shumpert to a torn ACL in Game 1. Davis is likely out all of next season as a result.

For those hoping to see Jeremy Lin (knee surgery) make an appearance in Game 5 tomorrow vs. the Heat, Knicks' interim HC Mike Woodson isn't counting on it.

Congrats. I'll have fun watching them get dismantled in the 2nd round.

It's been a great series though and maybe the only good series of the first round. 3 of the 4 games have come down to the final possession. I'm not counting out the Grizz yet, but it definitely doesn't look good.

Charles Barkley thinks the Spurs would kill the Clippers in Round 2. He explains to Dan Patrick:

Baron Davis' career is over. There's no way he comes back from this.

ironically it is the worst thing for them....they missed too many free throws and vinny is an awful coach....vinny is pretty much guaranteed to coach next year after this series win... my predictions?...thought miami or chicago vs okc or san antonio ...now it is miami vs okc/spurs

I really like Chris Webber as the color announcer for this Clips and Grizz series....hell even Dick Stockton seems fiesty with him.

Webber is pretty good at analysis. Much better than the big guy who replaced him on TNT.

And...

Chris is alright as a color announcer, he was ripping Blake the last game for supposedly flopping, which on that particular play he didn't even do!
