I had their barbecue one that I think won some contest, not bad, felt like shit afterwards though, didn't go down too well.

Yes, the ranch/taco mix does rock

Not, Doritos I am hooked on Burger King ketchup and fries flavor chips. They sell them in weird places, but they are awesome.
It's going to suck because I know they'll stop making em because no one will buy them, they have such shitty distribution, I mean Menards? Come on. Couldn't find them in grocery stores, but got some in a Kmart. I should go out and hoard as many as I can as a precaution

BTW Doc, in this thread you basically sounded exactly like my stoner friend Chris when describing you're Dorito love.

Random Thought: HHJ touched on this, but I feel like Dorito should be like the female version of Burrito on this site. Bigfan make this happen. And Yes I know this is the wrong section for this thought Stink.

Thanks for the review Bagels though I have a bag sitting here. The good side of it is that my daughter who is allergic to dairy can share them with me.

I am a big fan of the Smokin Cheddar ones.

I have a friend whose daughter is allergic to dairy and she has been with drawing lately. What can I do to help support her? If you want to pm me feel free. I'm kind of at a loss and would really appreciate the help.

I was at the Treasure Isle at saw thew NEW Dorito Organic Corn!

Pretty sure all corn is organic and is grown without pesticides as it is DNA engineered to need very little water, so it is rarely sprayed if ever.

Thus basically Doritos are now just birnging back THE ORIGINAL real Dorito, the plain Corn, which was my favorite and reposition it in a brown bag.

-Seperate Question, when I go to Whole Foods , I thought everything was Organic? and if so why do they have a seperate organic produce section within the produce section?

So I am bumping this sort of. Last night grabbed some of the new "mystery flavor" doritos. The going consensus is that they taste like a cross between fruit loops cereal and cheap lemon cookies.

I can't believe how many different Doritos flavors there are now. I remember when Cool Ranch came out and it was the shit. Now there have to be at least 10 flavors. It's gotten way out of hand.

Its gotten out of hand because they suck. Cool ranch or original for me.

The worst I had was some bullshit salsa variety. I think they have multi grain now...fuckin hell.

I'm actually going through a non Dorito phase, Im throwing down bags of those Cape Cod chips, I used to hate those things.

I don't know why, but I'm picturing a giant cross between a bowl of fruit loops and a pile of cheap lemon cookies...and I'm wondering, what does that cross taste like?

i got the chili cheese ones and those are all right...the thing is, the flavor all becomes the same after you've had a few...it's like you're all "wow, this is kind of different" and then after a handful, you realize...it's just all corn chips.

So I just found the answer I guess. Found http://doritosthequest.com/. They ask you to put the new flavor in. Its mountain dew. :puker:

Just tried the "jalepeno poppers" Doritos

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I really wanted some jalepeno potato chips like Krunchers but I thought these might do since it was all walgreens had.

I can't even finish the bag

Anyone have the late night taco flavor? Interesting at first and gets blah as you continue.

I have and those were my thoughts exactly. At first, I really enjoyed them but later on I just ate them to finish the bag.

I recently had a small bag of the Sweet Chile Something ones in the purple bag. I thought those were very good but am wondering if after a few servings the novelty would wear off. I don't think so though. They were pretty good.

I think the interest was from the fact that you could taste lettuce, like a Taco Bell taco. Once I got past that, I was wishing it was an actual taco dorito, rather than something else.

As for the Sweet Chili, I had them once. I'll have to get them again. I remember them having a bit of a kick. I had bought them because they are the only dorito that does not have dairy (and my daughter has a dairy allergy - she tried them and hated them because of the spice)

Quick review on Black Pepper Jack Doritos - if you are in the mood for pepper flavor, get some Kettle Brand Salt & Pepper chips.

These are decent but not as good as getting a potato chip of the same general flavor. Not bad when drunk and hungry though.

Have you tried Doritos Jacked? Had a bag last night and in my opinion it's the best Doritos product on the market. It's an over-sized, thick chip with tons of flavor. I can't see going back to regular Doritios after having these.

The Hot Wing one was excellent however I do not like the thicker chip. Those flavor combinations on a regular chip would be awesome.

I don't disagree, but pick up a bag of Jacked Enchilada Dorito's. They're different.

i just bought a bag. they're definitely better than the bbq ones but still i think they're just OK. what i was impressed by was their sour cream & onion flavor...i haven't seen it in a full sized bag but they're a bit zestier than cool ranch.
