When the expert thing went unchallenged no one had a problem with it. In fact didn't he have a late night show a few years ago that promoted him as a basketball expert. I don't recall it being promoted as "just a fan talking to fans" ala Mike Murphy.

You're out your damn fool mind if you think that's why I don't like Holmes as a radio host. No, that's why I dislike Holmes as a person. That situation was fairly recent. I've been ripping Laurence as a host for about a year now.

He wasn't always as bad at radio as he is now, and I used to give him the benefit of the doubt. But he's progressively gotten worse at radio, IMO.
