For those of you who are fortunate enough to have this wonderful blessing, can you feel it coming on the night before you get the attack? When I wake up in the morning and I feel like I sprained my foot, especially knowing I did nothing the night before, I can tell it's coming on.

My thumbs are double jointed. I can usually tell gout is coming when my thumbs crack when I bend them.
