Len and Bob are indicating that there was no injury reason for pulling him which basically means anyone that watched the 2nd inning watched the last time Volstad will be pitching as a starter for some time if not ever.

Very safe bet that Volstad's days as a starter in the near term are over and yes, I do want to see Travis Wood get the shot.

Wood has pitched well through 7 tonight only giving up 2 on 5 hits and will probably leave with the lead going in to the 8th.

That Rizzo guy hit his 14th hr tonight.
