Tony C is a joke (you can't just beat the ball in the ground forever),Soriano is way too streaky. That's about 5-6 guys out of 9 that are worthless when it comes to hitting. BUT give Theo time.

I don't get why the Cubs are wasting their time with this Cardenas character. Barney is the better ball player who always gives good at bats. Barney is not the problem with the offense. If they want to give guys a look, look at 3B or the outfield. Barney is just fine at 2B.

Soriano has been getting into some deep counts lately and that one paid off. He never used to see 8+ pitches in an AB.
