Teaser trailer...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24mTIE4D9JM&feature=share

I love the line at the end...simple, but for some reason it gets me really excited to see this...

Looks good. Hopefully it's better than Solace, which did nothing for me after the spectacular relaunch that was Casino Royale.

Just saw that Sam Mendes is directing this, he's the guy from American Beauty, Jarhead and Road to Perdition... I'd call him a damn good director; I am really excited for this...

Edit: an excuse to link to my favorite Road to Perdition scene...

Why does Craig always look like he just came off a 5 day bender? James Bond
was always well groomed while kicking ass. The trailer also avoided the Bond theme song, that ain't right. It still looks like they are trying to copy the "Bourne" movies. I liked the first Bourne movie, but the second one with the quick editing during fight scenes, keep it. Didn't see the 3rd one.

Full trailer released today...seems there are two slightly different ones going around, one domestic and one international...

Domestic:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kw1UVovByw

International:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgr2syY_OU4

I like the international one better...more dialogue it seems...

Craig is a badass still. The part where he reenters the destroyed train, adjusts his coat and then carries on like nothing happen...that's his Bond and I love it.

Javier Bardem...I know I'm not saying anything groundbreaking, but I think he's going to be a phenominal bond villian. We finally get a good look at him here, and I'm not dissapointed. Love the line "Mommy's been very bad." Thinking M fucked up big time (moreso than losing the drive with the MI6 Agents).

Bérénice Marlohe...holy fuck do I want to do evil things to that woman...first thought ran to Xenia from Goldeneye I and I read she drew inspiration from that...hopefully she has all the sex appeal of her without the over-the-top humor from how she killed her victims.

Ben Whishaw as Q...I know nothing from his past work but seeing the brief parts with him and Craig made me smile and instantly I thought of the way Desmond Llewelyn interacted with Connery. I can only hope that the part we see where Craig say "you must be joking" is followed by Whishaw saying "I never joke about my work 007"...that would be a nice nod to Desmond's Q.

Naomie Harris isn't doing a lot for me here...hopefully she's better with a razor than she is with a gun. I really hope the internet rumors that she is the new Moneypenny are just that.

Ralph Fiennes...if the internet rumors about his character are true...that would be a mindfuck. (Spoiler: He would make for a good Blofeld, no?) Not sure what to think of him at this point.

Not really. If you read the original Bond books by Fleming Craig fits the mold. In the first book he describes Bond as being a rough sort put into a suit.

Just saw Adele is doing the song for this...

...waiting to her about how pissed she was when 007 shagged her and left in the middle of the night.

Title song from the film sung by Adele. Not bad in my opinion. Definitely not the worst Bond
song I have heard. http://home.adele.tv/

Did you know Alice Cooper did a cut for the Man with the Golden Gun but they went with a different version. I kind of dig it.

Didn't know that. Alice sounds really good on that track.

THis movie looks real good. Looking forward to it. I mean Quantum was not really that bad it just had the misfortune of following not only one of the best Bond films ever but one of the best action films to come around in a long time.

If you got the EPIX channel they are running 24 hours of Bond tonight. AMC in counter programming is giving us a real action hero in 16 hours of Bruce Lee.
Also<OKC hate to tell you but there is a guy out here preforming as BEZ. You might want to slap an injunction on him.

I think I saw Goldeneye. That was the only Bond movie I remember watching.

No doubt Hinrich and Robinson could do it in 69.

Hank,
To be honest,a lot of those Roger Moore movies were pretty gay themselves. It seems like the best Bond's are always when they introduce a new actor. For Moore it was Live and Let Die. Dalton's best was his last one though "Lisense to Kill".
