Why are you not surprised by the NATO protests?

Because I expected it, in addition to all the world leaders and President Obama meeting.

You expected the protests along with all the world leaders meeting? Was this before the news came out, or are you just reading us your newspaper?

Frank demands answers, SHARK. Answers.

SJ, this was in the news long before the NATO Summit started.

Frank, that number's retired for Billy Pierce. Try again...

Here's a number that's not in use since Carlos Quentin was dealt in the offseason. #20?

I still think #9 is perfect for a backup infielder.

SHARK, do you think the Sox will retire #34?

Frank, you're swinging & missing badly. Minnie Minoso used to wear #9 and that's retired, too.

As for #34, that's Gavin Floyd right now, and even when he's sent packing at the MLB Trade Deadline this July, that number will still be available.

I meant #34 in honor of Kerry Wood.

How do you know that Gavin Floyd will be traded in July. What if this team is in 1st place?

Why can't they use an ampersand on "Orlando" Hudson's jersey?

Maybe give him the number '0' in honour of his name starting with an 'O'. Do you see what I did there?

I think there are more numbers than that available. There are only 25 men on the active roster, numbers generally go all double digits from 00 up to 99, and the Sox don't have 70 retired uniform numbers. Try again, SHARK.

A gut feeling? Unless Kosuke Fukudome wants to give up #1, Orlando Hudson gets #5 when he joins the White Sox tomorrow vs. one of his former teams the Twins starting tomorrow.

As for Gavin Floyd, as long as the Sox continue to have empty seats disguised as fans at The Cell, he will be available at the MLB Trade Deadline. Floyd, Paul Konerko, Anthony John Pierzynski & Matt Thornton are among the veteran White Sox that will be available as long as fans continue to stay away and NOT "Appreciate the Game".

AJ and Konerko both have 5-and-10 trade veto rights SHARK.

They'd be willing to waive such clauses if it came to fruition. It's a big "IF" at this stage. Unfortunately, I think Sox fans have already spoken. If they can't deal Jake Peavy, Adam Dunn & Alex Rios and their big contracts, the other veterans are up for grabs if the attendance continues to be a problem.

You've confirmed they'd be willing to waive their no trade rights?

If they give him Ozzie's Number, I'll change may screenname to KerryWoodsBalls.

Gloopan might be right, Q. I think Orlando Hudson will get #5, but #13 is a very real possibility, especially if it means the White Sox stick it to Ozzie.

You don't know that. And I doubt you knew he was an OF either.

Maybe Kenny saw him play 3rd base once??????

No mention of Jim Souhan saying "The worst player I ever covered" re: Hudson

“Every person in the Twins organization, from top to bottom, couldn’t wait to get him out of here,” Souhan told The Boers and Bernstein Show.

Not mentioned because no one cares.

AJ was hated in San Fransisco. He's done alright here.

Nobody cares or Sox fans hate to hear the truth? Seems to have been quite a story for the last hour on BB and the #1 story on the Scores website?

and for the record, Kenny hated AJ too.

The guy did get a hit in his debut. Not that that means anything, but...

Souhan was pretty specific about the guy, maybe he realizes he is on a last chance and realizes this is it, but outside of being a Dbag, Souhan did toss out the No talent and fake hustle. We will see.
