Like many of the world's great inventors and innovators, I stumbled upon my amazing discovery our of necessity.

Last night I wanted to snack on some pb&j, but was dismayed to discover we had no bread. So, I took a cup, threw in some Special K cereal and then mixed in some smooth peanut butter and a little strawberry jelly. It was fucking delicious! The cereal provided a great crunch to every bite, yet did nothing to diminish from the pb&j taste I was looking for.

Am amazing snack, and not too bad for you since Special K is better for you than bread.

I told everyone at my office today and they all said I was a disgusting freak, but that's ok cause I was already planning to come in here one day and shoot this place up anyway so all their taunts did was push that date up a few months.

I imagine other cereals would work as well, but Special K was a good choice because it doesn't have much flavor so all you got was the satisfying crunchy texture in every bite.

Have a glass of milk on the side and you've got yourself a wonderful snack or even a small meal.

That sounds pretty tasty. Did you mix it up and crunch up the flakes or did you just kind of roll the PB in the cereal?

I would imagine them calling you a disgusting freak is a daily occurrence.

I mixed it up as best I could without breaking the flakes. Just stirred it together. Didn't want to pulverize it and turn it into a mush.

When he eats peanut butter and jelly, he refuses to use bread.

I would think Cherrios would work even better. I hate PB and J but I like your invention.

Granola might work as well. I put that in my yogurt which makes it edible.

You know what I find works best? A couple pieces of bread.

On a somewhat related note regarding peanut butter and cereal. If you add peanut butter to your rice krispie treats (along with the marshmallows and butter) the taste is improved. Then after you get them in the pan you add fudge to the top.

I've never heard of this "Mix peanut butter and chocolate" theory before. That could revolutionize the industry.

You are halfway between a rice crispy treat and a scotcharoo there...pick a lane!

This is totally a reason to change them because this makes them significantly better.

MiniDitka's posts in this thread gave me a great idea. I took some Hershey's Chocolate Syrup and poured into a glass of milk this afternoon. I think I'm onto something here!

How could you allow yourself to have milk with this? How will your hockey team ever respect you?

Guilty of being played out. Had nothing else to add anyway.

Wasn't the USFL a "no check league"?

Watch ESPN's 30 for 30 "Small Potatoes" for explanation, Ivan. :P

Back on topic...sort of.

My cousin used to make Peanut Butter and Butter sandwiches. He thought he had something there, but it never got popular. It was pretty good, but a ton fattening.
