Danica can barely stay on the lead lap in Iowa today. She was just the Lucky dog but I expect her to be lapped again. There are a lot of drivers in this series that deserve a shot at the Cup series before her but sadly they will not.

She's 10th in points after 10 races in her first full-time year on the Nationwide circuit. And she just qualified 3rd for today's race.
Do you ever pay attention to what is actually happening in the world?

I have watched her this season and sitting 10th in the standings us very deceiving. She has not been competitive much at all except maybe a plate race where everyone can be competitive.

Finished 13th today after bad luck on her 1st pit stop when she got caught a lap down after pitting because Cope's daughter crashed (but it's Danica that has the undeserving "free ride", right? )

10th place in nationwide doesn't mean shit. She looked decent today but not a contender for the win. She is also kinda sorta old for a prospect.

Only 16 drivers have started all 11 races. She has 1 top 10 and no top 5 finishes. You also have to remember that all the bushwackers don't get to score points. Its kinda strange that she can be in 10th, I think she may have moved up a spot after yesterday, with a single top 10 finish.

A couple more years of the Danica shit show (Hey Hey!), & sponsors will demand results. The Honeymoon wont last forever for her. The fact is, driving a stock car is physically more demanding than open wheel, & I don't think she has the strength to do it...or the skill for that matter. Another week, another wall, another finish near the back of the pack.

it doesnt help that she is a rotten little fire crotch that nobody in the nascar world likes. hell, nobody liked her in open wheel either. she just acts like she belongs there when clearly shes not even good enough to get the fuck out of the way. what a joke. and the best part is, even though nobody likes her, nobody really cares either because at the end of the day she IS bringing money and attention to the sport. i agree though, that pull will not last too much longer... i bet after next season her business contracts start drying up


even DW yesterday couldnt sugar coat it any longer. he kept trying to say the right things- "well this is a learning process" ...... "even though she almost spun herself out, no contact with anyone, she did a really good job saving it" ....... "other drivers too took years to figure this all out"

but then shes a few laps down and he just couldnt swallow his nuts any longer. tone in his voice changed too. "well it looks like danica just doesnt have the experience needed to keep up" ..... "maybe her car isnt where it needs to be, but she needs to find a way to get out of other peoples way" ...... "did she just wall off 4 other cars?!?"

it was comical. what a complete disaster. all the broadcast team tried to do was build danica up into a competent driver, but then it just seemed to snap and they were like "this chick is terrible". for the first time i finally hear dw and crew let truth slip out, and i think were gonna get a lot more of that this year.

because i and everyone else knows this is nothing but a weekend advertisement festival, but theres still some guys around who made it to the top when it was still a pure racing event. those guys have pride, and it has got to make then straight sick to watch the go daddy girl "just try to finish in one piece" while making more money then they ever did.

Danica is running strong at Sonoma....which she should based on here IRL resume. I think her ceiling is Robby Gordon. Good on the road, good self promoter, has a chance at restrictor plate races and will wreck and finish 35th or worse most of the time.
