Nah, it's cool. I just know I've said and done too many incriminating things on this board. Look at my avatar for God's sake.

Just some random mugshot. I just love that he's being booked into jail and still telling the world to fuck off.

I would like to nominate 'texters who complain about Cubs and/or Sox tickets being too expensive' as an addition.

I don't think anyone does that unsolicited. It only occurs when a host who almost never pays to enter a game demands that fans attend more often.

Cubs fans are stupid for attending games and clapping and singing "Go Cubs Go" when the team is shitty, but they're also stupid for being enraged at how shitty the team is.

Good catch.

Fans attending games, having fun, singing along when the team is bad/good is not BIGBOYBASEBALL.

Fans caring that the team sucks, questioning what is going on and generally being unhappy with the product on the field is also not BIGBOYBASEBALL.

Hockey is not to be taken seriously in this town until Patrick Kane makes it on Deadspin, at which point we lament that hockey is not taken seriously in this town.

Which is even more insane that it's coming from B & B.

I think it's interesting how B&B used to tell people who complained about the price of tickets to just not go to the game - who cares. This year though, they're on Stub-Hub trying to find cheap tickets for people and walking them through how they can take a family to a game for cheap...I thought they didn't care??

If Sox attendance is down, and the television ratings are down, then I can only imagine what the radio ratings must be. They probably have less people listening to Farmio and D (gobble-dee-goo) J calling the Sox games than those who listen to live readings of Hemingway novels on Ham radio at 1am.

Could be imaginary radio but I think I heard Terry say something about how as the Sox flagship, they do their part to give away tickets and get people to the games. Helping them buy cheap tickets on the heels of another Kenny Williams shakedown would be the natural progression of that.

Now make Helping Meatballs Use StubHub a sponsored segment and not only are you making billable time, you're not giving tickets away and the sales staff can keep them for themselves! I may've just out-CBSed CBS.

Good example.

I've never heard anyone call Wade a choker. I have heard some of the hosts on the Score (maybe Goff as well) say Wade is declining (I don't agree with that), etc, but never that he chokes. I'm sure he has a tweet or a phone call he can remember, which, of course, is what everyone believes.

If a caller said to B&B, that "people are saying this or that" "I hear this or that", Bernsie would interrupt the caller, ask who said it, shout them down some more, and hang up. Why does Goff get a pass?

Yeah, in the last year Goff has really started feelin himself.

I think Twitter is the difference. Its gone to his head.

Which is why when I asked him to clarify an odd statement during the Peyton Manning Denver press conference it concluded with "One reason: Im me"

But hey man, if he's got the juice, I aint gonna hate on him

Keep on Goff'n

No one in the history of the world called Wade a choker.

Does anyone know anyone who was "outraged" at the P-Diddy scholarship story? CNN tried to stir something up, but no one seemed to care. The Dan Patrick show dropped the topic when they realized no one was calling bitching about it. Not B&B...they kept going on and on about the idiots who had a problem with it and the "outrage" at the story....straw man at its best.

According to B&B Cub fans are obsessed with Steve Bartman.

Next thing you know B&B will claim Cub fans think Johnson is better than LeBron James at basketball.

But B&B will claim (esp Dan) that James is better at baseball. Frankly I'm not so sure he wouldn't be!

I think the idea that people can't still enjoy the game and the moment and still think the team sucks is stupid beyond words.

They keep asking how does that bring you closer to a championship? How does it affect championship winning either way?

I don't think people singing Go Cubs Go keeps the team from winning. It's a fun albeit I agree stupid tradition.

Yep. A horrible segment, just as bad as the segment that had them having a seizure about Hawk saying "The Tank" was stronger than Konerko.

Bad show, all the more apparent as the days go by.

That's ok though. Jordan was awesome until he played for the Wizards.
