5 years from now, who is in a better spot?

My money is on North. He may be a hack, but the guy works continuously. Mac will be lucky if he is in the same midday recession place he is now.

Not a zero sum game. They will probably both be doing well. They have enough connections to stay employed.

But I'd go with North because there is an outside shot that Mac will not be alive, sad to say.

I agree about North, give him credit he maybe talentless but he hustles.

Mac is just far too lazy to be a factor in 5 years.

I predict that Dan will have a renaissance at the Score in afternoon drive after B and B ends.

...as far as doing well (whatever that means) Dan could own entire cities in NWI for the cost of two lots on Murphy Lake. Dan does not lead an extravagent lifestyle. He also was smart and married above his station.

Dan is one of the few at the station who loves watching and talking about sports. I could see him working a show well into his sixties.

Why is this even a discussion? Is it some random question or is North back somewhere. Mac will be working. He knows his place and he will always take whats available and whatever money he can get. North thinks he's Bill O'rielly or Roe Conn and he thinks he's entertaining.. He's de only one dat tinks dat. I'm amazed how some here are still impressed by North.

North is 60 right? With the Mackeyfish being about 10 years younger I think. Why would Mike want to hustle and be a shill at 65? He must have a good deal of that fuck you money remaining. i think north does it because he likes it. mac does it because its not a bad job and he feels too young to retire.

mac also has WWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY more responsibilities in his life, and im sure thats why he cant enjoy his job as he should. north aint got nothing else. his entire life is marked by being an on air personality. no kids, no background education... all he had was a good wife. and thats great and all, but if i were him i too would be talking into a mic until i croak. its what made him who he is. whereas mac is defined and remembered for other things as well as his job.

I think there is more to Mac's story than rehab for weed. Maybe he smashed his car up, maybe he paid off some Indiana cop, who knows. He's one of those guys who thinks he's way hotter shit than he is. If he continues to feed his ego to excess, he won't make five years.

And if I were to bet on who has the bigger bank account, I would pick North. The only way Mac has more is if his wife is doing really well. If you seperate her out, hands down North is doing better, simply because the guy never rests. Sure his act is stupid, and his show is like listening to fingernails on the chaulkboard, but you have to admire the guy just because he never goes away. Mac could give a shit and it is painfully obvious. If he had 10% of North's drive he'd be miles ahead.

As far as you Mac apologists go, I know its never Mac's fault. It's the recession, Harry got him fired, Mitch is stupid, waaah waaaah waaaah. You make your own breaks.
