Look, he said the exact same thing last year when he choked out and flip-flopped right back when this season started.

It may be an interesting show today.

BernSTINE is all in a flutter, his sacred cow hasn't come home and his usual "Oh my he's 10 ft tall and 500lbs and fast and thus the best because of stats on a sheet of paper!!!" things is going to hell in handbasket.

Shot up like Sonny, left to die on a dry, dusty dirt road while the gangsters of reality look on.

That would be hilarious. I'm sure the would the "We aren't an ALS!! WRONG SHOW, PAL" act if he ever walked in.

Anyways, I hope the Celtics win.

The funny thing is Goff and Berns are right about last night.

The funnier thing is most fans except them have known this about leBron for awhile. The jokes/memes are there for a reason. Shit I called it in the 2nd quarter last night. It wasn't hard. Miami woulda lost to Boston last year if Rondo had both arms. Lebron is at his weakest against tough teams. Boston's about as tough as they get.

Cowards way out. Not when BernSTINE has touted LeBron as basketball Jesus/Hercules/Zeus/Superman.

Coaches really don't matter, right? They spent 30 min telling us that Chris Paul runs the Clippers and that after Vinny gives them the play or whatever CP3 goes back to the huddle and tells them to ignore him, right? So, with a Heat team full of stars....why would they give Spoelstra any credence in crunch time or anytime for that matter?

If BernSTINE's Last Stand is to be laying the blame on Spoelstra then I don't know what to tell ya', Chief RPB.

"Bernsie is such a moron, I can't believe he says the stuff he does and pisses (insert name here) off!! Fuck him! I can't wait to listen to what he says today so I can be mad about it and bitch about it some more!"

I fail to understand why people get so worked up. It is all show and fake. He is spouting off shit he doesnt even believe himself because he knows the average person is a moron who will listen, drive up ratings and thus make him more money. I got annoyed and stopped listening, maybe if everyone who bitches endlessly about him does the same he will be gone.
Let me guess today's show:
NBA sucks because James isnt winning and everyone that likes it are dopes.
Sandusky and all of Pennsylvania sucks.
CTE sucks.
Football sucks.
Insert calls from people trying to kiss his ass and agree with him, these people should be shot. Impressing some douchenozzle on a radio to justify your existance? Really??

Yes that sounds like a fun listen.

I heard Bernsy mention that this show plans on covering the upcoming Jerry Sandusky trial like a blanket. Might that mean we hear more from SCORE Sports Legal Analyst Eldon Ham when the trial begins Monday? Could we hear from Sara Ganim, the reporter who has been on the frontline of the story and someone Bernsy has mentioned quite a bit via Twitter? For some, it might be PTFB, but for others, this story needs to be told, especially if people involving the Penn State football program over the years continue to remain absolutely clueless and simply don't understand what in the hell has happened.

Someguy I have a serious question. You come on here almost daily complaing about this show and you still listen. Why would you want the aggravation? Not criticizing I just want to know. I mean personally I dont like to get kicked in the nuts, but there are guys out there who pay women to do it, so to each his own, just wondering.

The thread is already 3 pages and the show doesn't start for four hours. Quite the impressive thing Dan has created with people who hate him but listen all the time.

I think it's more indicative of the decline in quality of sports radio in the city. B&B aren't any different now then when I joined in 2007 and the forum was never this active back then. MJH easily dominated any sports radio talk.

Most of the other shows are too boring to talk about. At least Dan will give an opinion on something. Mac has gotten better recently but Spiegel is a pretty bad partner.

OKC already asked this same exact question to all of us miscreants and we answered him.

-I usually don't listen everyday, especially if I'm out of the office. If I'm in I will tune in or come back after PTFB if the board is aflame with activity.
-I still think the show is a decent yet rapidly declining listen, at this point. Used to be the best sports radio show in town, unquestioned. Now its candle burns the brightest because every others shows light has been extinguished.
-The sports talk alternatives aren't compelling.
-The show still has its moments although those moments are fast dwindling to nothingness.
-Plus, it's a message board about sports and sports radio and the B&B section is where the action is.
-So, in conclusion, there is still some good left in the show so it is still worth a listen

-I don't quite understand why you ask me specifically, am I the only one who rails against BernSTINE and Co.? I'm pretty sure a lot of the posters on this board engage in the same deviant behavior.

You might be right. LeBron might get a second head coach fired if the Heat come up short...again.

I agree with you it used to be a very good show and now is turned bad. I asked you because I figured I would get an honest answer and I appreciate it. When I asked a similar question before people got defensive and didnt answer, only blasting me for asking it. I think this show can be good at times, but it has run its course and needs a change.

This show is great. I really like it.

However, Bernstein and Goff get too excited and go overboard and get called out on it. I'm sure other shows do too but they aren't good enough to listen to.

The problem with this is it doubly undermines his Thibodeau love. Spoelstra out coached Thibs last year in the playoffs, and we all know that JLIII ran his own shit when out on the floor this season.

If "Boers & Bernstein" really need a change, what do they do? Does Dan B. host a solo show like his New York counterpart, WFAN's Mike Francesa, has done for quite sometime? Does Terry's "two favorite words in show business", Laurence Holmes, become a full-timer in afternoon drive? Do Jason Goff or Matt Abbatacola, the show's producers, move up the depth chart and become co-hosts of this show? I'm not sure what SCORE management has in mind...That "SCORE Search" of theirs doesn't solve the problem.

Boers is old, tired, uninterested and a drag on the show at best and a total-non factor at worst.

If you were to start giving him days off, more HFC Reunion shows, freeze him in carbonite would anyone really notice? Play some drops of him agreeing with BernSTINE, or going "yeah I think that's right" and have him do a Roar of Week or something. Start bringing in other partners for Danny to audition....I don't know, but Boers isn't even part of the equation anymore.

Bernsy has a message for the U.S. Government...Don't screw this up! His column on this Jerry Sandusky case can be found here:
