Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized after her Porsche collided with a truck Friday in Los Angeles, according to a report.

Her car's window was shattered, the bumper smashed and the airbag deployed after the crash with the 18-wheeler, TMZ.com reports.

Lohan's condition is not known, though she is reportedly in the hospital with doctors performing tests.

According to TMZ, an ambulance was called to the scene.

Lohan, 25, has been filming Liz & Dick, an Elizabeth Taylor biopic for Lifetime, in Los Angeles recently.

What I truly don't understand if I was a rich and famous drunk I would just pay someone to drive me around everywhere like turtle on entourage. If you are rich why the hell are you driving yourself anywhere if you know you are just gonna go get hammered and do some rails in a bathroom stall.

It could have been the truckers fault. I hope she's OK. Hollywood has had a lot of tragedy involving "too much,too soon" young stars.

Lindsay's real problem is that she parties big time and stays out until the wee hours of the morning. She's lost out on quite a few film roles as a result of such behavior and I think she's flirting with an early death if she doesn't get her act together. If I were a Hollywood producer, I wouldn't hire her.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old actress was driving her Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway when she collided with the back of the truck.

I think PCH runs through Mailibu. Maybe she spotted a dolphin that grabbed her attention.
