The best at making money? Yes. Mac has stated here many times that it is all about ratings which equal advertising dollars which equal a second story on the gazebo.

Are the ratings higher because the show is great or because Tom Waddle is unbearable? Same goes for Mully/Hanley and Mike n Mike.

No, I don't think that. But I also don't think Jason Goff has done anything to make anyone believe (except you) that he'd improve the ratings of the mid-day show. In fact, I think most would agree that he's lost his edge (if he ever had an edge) and is now just parroting Bernstein's schtick...so no, I don't think he'd do anything to help the ratings.

I kind of agree. Remember way back last summer when the firestorm of "Goff replacing Meatpants" rumors were flying around like flies buzzing about a corpse? What happened to that fever, that fervor, that madness? Where did the fuck it go? People on these boards were on pins and needles with each passing day. "Goff to Mac Show is imminent" was being shouted from the hilltops of Krazy Ivan. He was peddling hopes and dreams like smack from a street corner. Goff on Saturdays, Goff filling in for Boers...people where going to burn Oak Park Vandy at the stake when it was a horrible 3 man booth...although I'm sure everyone loved Mac bringing in a nobody friend off the streets to fill prime air time.

All that magic is gone....like ashes in the wind. Something happened. Now Goff missed a shot or wasn't up to stuff concerning management.
