Pretty average episode. But they had to tie all the story lines up. Blackwater was great so I'm not bothered.

So, the dragons haven't grown during the entire season?

They didn't explain enough to the viewer why Jon killed the Halfhand.

Tryion and Shae having a too intimate emotional moment. It doesn't reflect their book relationship.

Robb gets married under the auspices of the 7 and not the old gods of the North?

But man that bass line at the end of the episode when the Others and wights showed up was chillingly awesome.

this is something i think is a legitimate complaint, only because i don't know why they would resolve shae's story in any other way than the book because it reflects tyrion's life so much. they've given shae too many sympathetic characteristics. i'm also tired of the "hooker with the heart of gold" angle in stories.

but it wouldn't be consistent at all with how she's been so far. at least in the book you realize she is *just* a whore. in the show they're building her up a lot more than that.
