Not yet. I was pretty sure my car was dead but I wanted to get it checked out first.
I'm leary of Craigslist for cars because I don't want it to breakdown as soon as I start driving home. Plus, I know jackshit about cars.

I'll probably end up with a car this week. Got a couple of local leads, and a guy from the board here has sent me messages offering to help and I'll be looking at his offer later in the week.

So...does anybody here know if its worth it to sell my old car or just junk it? Does anybody know anybody who works on old/beat up cars to resell them or use for like a demolition derby? Its a 98 contour, 120K miles, needs a new transmission, several dents and scratches. If I can get a few hundred bucks for it I will try and peddle it. If not, either junk it or Kars for Kids.
