I hope he stays with the organization in some capacity. He's managing timber! He'll gain instant respect with his mangled hand.

Speaking of mediocre catchers whom I thought would become managers, I wonder if the Brewers ever put Damian Miller to work.

It's actually 2B Luis Valbuena, who I believe was part of a rant by Cleveland sports talk radio host Bruce Drennan that "B & B" has played over & over again.

This is amazing news. I have been waiting weeks for this day. Now give him his outright release when no one claims him.

I told you it was a non-story. Three catchers go down, where's 4 1/2?

He isn't dead yet. He has joined fellow zombie cub Black Dewitt on the Iowa roster.

Good call on Miller. He was a very good handler of pitchers and was a very intelligent player. I believe he was the catcher in Arizona when they won the World Series wasn't he?

This guy was in AA before the Cubs picked him back up and now he's too good for AAA? Well fuck you, chopped-hand. Enjoy the open market.

This is tremendous news for both the immediate and long term future of the team.

Guys got better AAA numbers than Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters over his career in the minors. Hopefully, they can step up their game if they ever make it to the show.
