The Thunder just don't have it. They can put together a small run, get back within 1 or 2 points or even take a slim lead but then 2min later the Heat are up by 7.

They can't get over the hump. Bad passes, a 5min scoring drought? Really? This team doesn't look all that great, there is dookie all over the court.

I have a feeling we will see #ThunderOfficiating in Oklahoma City....unless Stern wants the Heat to steamroll.

I still think the Thunder will win. They haven't played well at all and made the necessary adjustments in the Spurs series. Durant needs to play a lot better. Westbrook needs to play a lot smarter. The Thunder got some bad calls but Miami has just played better than them so far.

I hate the Heat as much as anyone, but I really can't see them losing the series at this point.

Series over.

Lebron is a god.

Listening to Oklahoma City police scanner should be as much fun as listening to the Lexington police scanner after the NCAA Finals.

People thought the OKC and Spurs series was over too.

Lots of basketball left in this series.

Good points. Durant needs to find a way to stay on the court more... Seems to be the Heat strategy to get him in foul trouble... Maybe okC is out on South beach too much...

Nope.

In the last 20 NBA Finals, the first team to get to 2 wins has won the title 18 times.

The Heat were the first to two wins last year...

And the 2006 Heat won after Dallas won the first 2.

Your move God.

Of course it's subjective, but there are 3 officials on the court that all call or not call a foul at any time. Fouls in basketball are a bigger deal because the games are much closer than the other sports and the fouls directly affect who plays in the game and the number of points scored on free throws.

Well that wasnt fun.

I think Brooks made a huge mistake sitting down Westbrook AND Durant when KD got in foul trouble.

Also, KD needs to stop getting in foul trouble. I dont know what he needs to do, but nothing he does defensively is worth his offense having to sit down in foul trouble for 5-6 minute stretches.

James Harden needs to calm the fuck down. Forcing way too much stoooopid shit. Guy looks like he's on speed or something. Completely out of control. Oh and maybe make a shot.

LeBron was good, could have been better as usual. Why does he ever take a 15 ft jumper? Especially in crunch time? He should be driving to the basket every time. He either gets fouled or scrores every time.

Durant got jobbed by the refs, his block on lebron was dumb and was a foul but there was 2 or 3 other fouls called that were complete bullshit...okc whoops their ass when durant and westbrook are in the game...I still think the thunder win this.

As to your comment, it still makes no sense. Go reread your last two posts and there is your example of your NBA stupidity that you keep asking for. Even the casualest of fans knows the feet set rule on charges is pretty much written in stone. If your feet are moving there's a 0% chance it's a charge. Stop implying otherwise unless you want to give more examples of your NBA stupidity.

I wasn't here last night, but I wanted to chime in on this. I think the call Van Gundy was talking about was made correctly. This was in Game 1, right? From what I remember, the OKC player who drew the charge was back-pedaling, and the Miami player who had the ball just ran him over. I think the correct call was made there. A defender cannot move side to side to block another player's path, but if he is already in a player's path, and moving backwards, an offensive player can't just run him down. That was a charge. The way Van Gundy was trying to make his argument was bad, but I don't think he was wrong in that situation. Whoever had the ball for Miami could have taken 1 step to the right or left, and he wouldn't have been called for a foul. Instead, he chose to just steamroll the defender.

No the charge was taken by Norris Cole. It was either Harden or Westbrook that was in the middle of a fast break and he slid in front of them around the top of the key. The OKC player didn't run him over or do anything unusual for a guard trying to score on a fast break. Cole slipped in his path, with his feet still visibly moving, and of course got ran over. That's a textbook blocking foul on Cole.

I don't really have much to say other than despite OKC's poor play, they had numerous opportunities to take advantage of mistakes by Miami. Instead of taking advantage of those mistakes, they responded by making even bigger mistakes (like blowing a 9 point lead in consecutive posessions by giving up 6 points by fouling a 3-point shooter).

OKC fully deserved to lose that game.

I now have no idea what to expect in Game 4. No idea.

Wade is so annoying to watch.

Thunder settle for jump shots when there is a lane to the basket all too often. Even in the late stages last night, Miami completely lost Westbrook and he jacked a three (They kinda needed one) but he could have gotten a 5 foot runner at the very least if not a 3 point play.

I'm moreso appalled at the fact that Scott Brooks hasn't told his team to STOP BITING ON THE BALL FAKE. Lebron, Wade (excessively), and Bosh all do it. Durant especially, just can't stay on his feet when he's guarding those guys.

You mean you aren't impressed when he hits a shot whilst drawing a foul by sticking his leg out and then shuns teammates and stalks to half court and poses with a "tough guy" scowl on his face?

In 24 months he has gone from one of my 10 favorite to 10 least favorite nba players to watch. His laziness on defense is really the tipping point for me. He has the ability to be All defense 1st team and yet he plays defense about as hard as 2003 Shaq in a November game.

And yeah the flopping and entitlement complex he now constantly carries with him is as tiresome as everyone makes it out to be. If there's not something going on in his personal life then it looks like he's just gone full blown prima donna.

This is classic first trip Finals voodoo type shit. The best free throw shooting team in the league leaves 10pts off the board. And not just going 1 of 2, but air balling both shots. You can feel the lack of confidence at the line. Forget all th other stuff, if they hit their free shots then they win.

And good god is Westbrook stupid at times.

The worst call last night happened on the "Save" when Lebron threw it off the back of the backboard. The refs "missed" that one, and then someone else saved the ball again on the rebound and stepped out of bounds. Two terrible calls in a span of about 2 seconds.

That was horrible. The bounce off the backboard was so obvious and the out of bounds step was obvious too.

So bad they missed it on purpose.

if the NBA wants to plant roots with lebron being this generation's "dude" in the wake of some excellence from durant (think of lebron as magic to the more straightlaced durant's bird), they'd better start planting his flag now. if the thunder continue their upward trajectory and we're seeing the heat maxed out with this iteration of the team, lebron would do well to get a ring now before it's too late and other teams start getting themselves in the picture (coughcoughBULLScoughcough)

In his defense, Wade's doing fairly well in the "hot black woman" department right now.
