You are aware that court proceedings did resume this morning, right? Do you not expect them to talk about it?

You said yourself last week (about 3 times) that "the story has to be told."

Which is it?

The post he replied to is gone, but Schmutzie Godwinned the comments section.

This is one of the first of Bernstein's columns that I've read. Does he often cram words and terms like "vainglorious", "biological mutualism", "solipsistic", and "temporal continuity" into columns about local stories or just ones he hopes will garner some national attention? It seems like a bit much.

Yeah, Bernstein's columns do include a lot of those words million-dollar words.

There are posters here who do that as well though.

Looks like BernSTINE has crowned himself the "Arbiter of Journalism" concerning the Sandusky case.

Who cares what Coach K and Vitale think!? Seriously, you're trying to lead a charge on this but you keep coming back to these clowns. Did Coach K. cut you from the team? Did he not sign an autograph for you? Leave it alone, clown! Talk about 'more important things'.

Terry didn't need to hear one bit of testimony. He knew exactly what happened.

And if something surprising happened, his guy left it on the answering machine. So he knew that too.

No podcast yet.....but this is one I will have to listen to. Given my Mac love and Bernsie hate, it should make me giggle like a school girl.

Mac wasn't even aggressive, he just kept the pressure on and didn't let Lil' Danny squirm his way out like the worm that he is! Har!

BernSTINE is great with yelling at people on the phone and making fun of others when they aren't around to defend themselves but, like World War Mac just showed, he shrivels up when he is called to the carpet face to face.

Great....here we go.

-No one knows how to watch a basketball game.
-Making things up about what his "friends" at the gym where saying about the game.
-Dragging out the ghost of MJ, trying to bait in meatballs.
-Revisionist history.
-Pushing the Invincible Miami Heat narrative. Just sucking the dong, milikin' it.
-Constructing Staw Men as tall as the eye can see.
-Massive generalizations.

That's right, boys! The Thunder played 110% last night, they didn't crap their pants, they didn't make any mistakes, didn't have a lack of focus and on and on...no, it was the Heat clobbering them and winning by 25 points....whatever.

And why can't anyone complain about fouls in this NBA series? Because MJ got calls 15 years ago? What a bunch of fucking idiots. Talk about making absolutely no fucking sense and having no point.

Bernstein just said that if they called all the fouls on Lebron he'd shoot 30 free throws a game.

He'd also be fouled out by the start of the 4th quarter in every game.

Basketball stupid. But good to see Goff nodding along like a bobble head doll.

And can they stop interjecting "showering with children" and "child rape" into the segment? WTF?

that's pretty much true though. when lebron has the ball most people just automatically hack him... it's almost amazing that he doesn't go hard to the hole everytime as if he's trying to pass first out of some neurotic obsession.

as a team, the heat didn't have a problem getting to the basket last night so unless the thunder can figure out a way to defend that they're about to have some pretty serious issues.

I'm well in into detox, but from reading this, it sounds like my thread predictions are coming true.

Bernstein says before the series that the Heat have no chance because the Thunder are a more complete team to allow him the space to attribute a Heat championship totally to Lebron's greatness.

Oh and Goff, I actually enjoyed listening to him at one time.

Sad thing is, WSCR has a weak farm system. Who's the next big thing?

McKnight?

Randazzo?

Me thinks not.

The problem is that this happens to the best player on every team. Derrick Rose would get the same. Dwight Howard, Carmelo, Durant, and a bunch of others would get the same or they'd go in for uncontested layups every time. Lebron does it to others too.

If you are calling a foul on every foul for Lebron you have to call every foul when he does it. That would be bad for him.

It would be hilarious if they started calling travelling by its true definition all of a sudden in the middle of the finals

Wasn't BernSTINE supporting Coach K a few years ago over his policy that school fans should only raid the floor for a national championship and that doing otherwise is for low expectation idiots?

lebron knows how to flop. he'll manage. the NBA has deep financial interests rooted in lebron being someone you could believe in.... to go down to the store and buy his swag. seriously, the thunder are on the up and up and the heat kind of are what they are... if they're going to give him one now is the time polysics fans!

Only this shit show would drag up MJ into a discussion about the 2012 NBA Finals. Jordan got calls, great, these idiots aren't telling us anything we didn't know. But using it as something to discourage and berate fans that dare to criticize officiating in the 2012 Finals is pretty fucking stupid. The use of MJ to bait people and to, yet again, bravely and courageously take shots at a city legend is lame and totally overdone.

"You can't criticize the officiating! How dare you! MJ got calls 15 years ago so because of that you are an idiot for questioning the officials in this 2012 NBA Finals!" Lame, not everyone that is criticizing was/is a Bulls or MJ fan. Just way of the mark, really reaching.

I have my finger on the big red PTFB button.....I'm hoping they pull outta' the dive.

I'm not hopeful.

Just listened to transition.

Somwhere between "WTF!?!?!? Did you hear that?" and "meh"

Mac, kinda touchy. But Bernstein, kind of a douche. So nothing really groundbreaking for me. I was entertained...
