Indiana Beach has been going through ownership struggles for the past year or two, but the atmosphere of that place was pure before that. Wisconsin Dells has the vibe of a dollar store where everything is out the ass expensive.

Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN ( http://www.holidayworld.com/ ) is an alternative to Dells/Indiana Beach if a longer drive isn't a problem. Possibly the best water park in the country included with admission to one of the best amusement parks in the country. Santa Claus, IN is also the town Jay Cutler hails from, so there's that as far as tourism. There is actually a shrine for him in the exact center of the town, there was actually a childrens hospital and a veterinarian they used eminent domain on to make room for it.
