I remember and know they split time with Mac. Not sure why they quit doing that, but obviously Boers became the full time partner, and Hanley was off the air for years. The Boers influence on Hanley is pretty evident to me.

The McNeil/Hanley show had a parody of the Addams Family song. Terrible.

It's not as apparent today but if you listened from the beginning you would hear that Hanley is doing an impression of Boers who is doing an impression of Letterman

Now that you mention it, I remember it that way, too.

Weren't Boers and Hanley also running mates when they were both fulltime ink-stained wretches rather than sports yakkers?

When Terry and Hanley it was like listening to a puppy begging for a bone. Hanley: "yes terry, sure terry, of course terry".

Boers and Hanley rarely, if ever, worked together. :?:

I am certain they did at least the couple times I heard them. Likely when Mac was off. Very early score days (820).
