So the lefty Saunders was going to pitch but was a late scratch. Given this information Swaimer still starts fucking Baker over LaHair yet again. WTF man??? While I don't really mind either Baker or Reed Mantle I really am tired of seeing them play for the Cubs.....and don't get me started on the Big Vajay. Hopefully Rizz brings some friends up with him as I'm tired of seeing the same old crap utility players. I would prefer to seem some new crap utility players at the very least.

The Big Vajay gets a hit!!! That was nice of him to give a smile and a nod to his boys back home getting their floats ready for this weekend.

I hope they bring Rizzo up today. I think bringing him up on the road is better. Give him a couple games under his belt before getting back to Wrigley in front of all the press and fans that will be so eagerly awaiting his arrival.

I absolutely agree to bring him up on the road so it can be a normal game atmosphere for him because you know the Wrigley faithful and the media will make a scene of it if its at home.

Supposedly, they are saying he won't be brought up this week.

The cubs may as well not bring rizzo up until next year at this time....that way they retain his rights for even another year before he would be eligible for free agency!

I'm fucking kidding...but I'm also sick and tired of hearing about rizzo and when he comes up and the supposed "hoopla" that will surround that. I honestly don't care and hate seeing the hype about it. Let him come up whenever...and lets wait and see how he does. Nothing more than that.

What pisses me off is that Kaplan seemed to break this story...and there is no reason that fuckstick should have any knowledge about what the Cubs are doing these days.

The new word is that Rizz will be up on Tuesday...and this info didn't come from cockface Kaplan thankfully.

Hopefully they can unload at least 5-6 more guys off this shit roster as it is pretty much unbearable to watch. I'd like to see BJax and Vitters get 300 AB's this year along with Rizzo but they're thinking is give them a full season at AAA to (hopefully) continue to develop.

This team is on pace for the worst record in franchise history which is really saying something.

Having all 3 up right now actually wouldn't be that bad of an idea. If there were 3 of them it would take the pressure off them as individuals.

I agree but it won't happen though. Hopefully BJax & Vitters earn a Sept promotion.

The 2 players Swaimer has a raging hard on for, Reed and Baker, are of course both in the lineup again today.

I noticed in the paper today Sveum singling out Lahair on is lack of hitting with runners in scoring position.

Granted he has been bad, .146 BA, but Baker isn't exactly tearing it up either, .200 BA with runners in scoring position.

Without looking at all the stats I would guess lack of clutch hitting would be a problem for a vast majority of Cubs.

Just seems kind of douchy to single out one player for lack of clutch hitting.

He isn't making it a secret that he doesn't care for LaHair. Somehow because he was a grizzled veteran utility guy he has a special place in his heart and lineup for grizzled veteran utility guys.
