I'm certainly not notable (probably could win award for "Most Mediocre Poster"), but I'm going to take an extended break from the board. Like Dr. Ken, I've got some things to focus on at work and the board can be a bit addictive.

I've checked in a few times in the past week and man has it been crazy. I think Doug made a comment in the past couple days that there's been a lot of wild stuff going on for a "Sports" board. I tend to agree. I first got interested because I love sports and sports media and this seemed like a great place to exchange ideas and thoughts. You can actually learn something from a guy like Spinnin' Bucket who really knows his NBA.

Recently, it seems that the board is more about bickering, name calling, and frankly "not so interesting" topics. Straying from sports is fine, but when I read a non-sports thread, I hope that poster has "typed something funny"!

WR, Doug, Hawkeye, Ken, Paul, and Don that I met at the Manniversary - I look forward to seeing you guys at a remote soon and having a beer (or two).

Rooney and HUGE, - the bits can be funny, but remember moderation is key.

Good you came back, KS. You got a funny stick, but moderation is probably good for you too.

TM - The board's lucky your back. Good stuff.

C2C - Maybe I'll see you at CJ Arthur's for a beer sometime. You won't catch me dead in Charlie's.

gd - I read a thread that you were a black woman. You had me fooled, sir, I mean miss, for a long time. I never knew who you were, but I took you for a man. Spmack?
