I finally got around to watching the first eppisode earlier this morning. I had both the first and second eppisode recorded and after about 7 mins in I deleted both shows. It's really not funny and the acting was really piss poor as well. FX is better than this.

Doing some checking it was.

I thought the same thing about 2 and a half men and the Big Bang theory and those are the highest rated shows of all time. And then Louie struggles to find an audience. Merika

Many people in the US do not have cable and therefore, can not see most shows on TV and are stuck watching CBS, NBC, and ABC. Further, most older people only watch those stations even if they watch cable during prime time. Also, the younger generation is trending to Tivo most shows and watch them later, further lowering that programs ratings.
