Anthony Morrow is probably the only guy the Hawks would wanna keep around. Johan Petro is still in the league?

Supposedly the Hawks are trading Marvin Williams for Devin Harris. I like what the Hawks are doing.

Don't look now, but via Chris Broussard's twitter:

Quote:
Sources: The Nets & Magic are discussing a trade that would send Dwight Howard to Brooklyn for Brook Lopez, Kris Humphies, Marshon Brooks, and the Nets' first-round picks in 2013, 2015 & 2017....move would give Nets Big 3 of D-Will, Dwight & Joe Johnson

That may be the least intimidating "big 3" since these guys.

Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a 3-year, $5 million deal for Reggie Evans. It'll be a sign & trade with the L.A. Clippers when deals can be signed.

Jason Terry is closing in on a deal with the Celtics for 3 years, worth the full MLE. Boston's doing a nice job. Rondo/Bradley/Pierce/Bass/KG with Terry/Green/Sullinger/Fab Melo coming off the bench if they get Green back.

Ray Allen is officially a member of the Heat now.

Mavs now enter the fray for Nash, as they always played to do if they lost out on D-Will, something Nash said he understood when FA began

Seems like Cuban took a gamble and lost thinking he could DWill or Howard to the Mavs.

D.Will made the wrong choice, IMO. Regardless, I would imagine Cuban will throw some money at Nash now.

Deron Williams doesn't impress me much. Have fun with Joe Johnson in Brooklyn.

Deron impresses me. But Wallace and JJ do not. I'm not worried at all about the Nets.

Mavs roster is gonna look really bad by 2014.

I wouldn't count on this plan working either..

Dallas is considering this too: Take a step back, clear cap space for the summer of 2013 and chase free agents Dwight Howard and Chris Paul.

Have fun selling that. Their excuse for breaking up the title team was "take a step back, clear cap space for the summer of 2012 and chase free agents Deron Williams and Dwight Howard".

He's restricted, isn't he? No way the NBA lets him leave NO after that trade debacle.

He's overpaid, but not drastically so. Remember that Afflalo signed for 4 year/$50M last summer. By comparison this is a bargain.

If he plays more than 15 games a season. Which is unlikely... especially since he hates NO and doesn't want to be there.

NO has a totally different outlook than they did two months ago. If he hated it as much as you claim he wouldn't have signed PHX's offer sheet. He would've just gone unrestricted next season.

His injury-proneness, if he even has any, is vastly overblown. One injured year doesn't make you injury prone. He missed some games before this past season, but he wasnt labeled as an injury risk.

I think most GMs would've given him the same offer if they had the need and the cap room. He's already a top 5 SG and he's 23.

If that's the case he needs to fire his agent for not making sure he understands how restricted free agency works. He's a total dumbass if he truly doesn't want to play in NO and signed that offer sheet anyway. There was no way New Orleans wasn't gonna match.
