Who do you think will ascend/descend from their current draft status:

Risers

Jenling- isn't the story every year that a foreign born player gets some hype and suddenly becomes a top 3 pick. I've never understood why talent evaluation seems to be based as much on rumor and hype as actual skillls. The less they see of you the better.

Hawes- unfortunately for the bulls, he seems to be one of the golden boys of this draft. Words like "post up center" and "refined offensive skills" will make this guy the second center drafted.

the center from BC-the guy was a player...as well as a public offender. the second part does not work well in college. the pros don't have a problem with it. i think he will end up being a steal in the middle of the first round

Fallers

Julian Wright- there are a few guys of similar height and skill but better production in this draft (Green and Brewer). I think Wright will end up getting lost in the shuffle and be drafted in the middle of the first round.

Aaron Gray- from the paul mokeski mold of backup big men

Joakim Noah-everyone seems to have him in the top 10. I think he is a weaker version of Roy Hibbert. I pray the bulls do not get stuck with this guy.

Word is Noah looked fantastic in his last workout. Apparently he’s been hitting the gym hard, and some scouts are starting to rethink their initial stance that he can’t/won’t fill out. I don’t think he’ll be on the board at 9, anyway.

RISER: Mike Conley (initially projected as a mid lottery pick, may go as high as 3 to ATL)

FALLER: Tiago Splitter (contract buyout may cause him to fall several spots)

Did I just hear that right.
DP reporting that Hibbert is returning to G-town.

I wouldn't et anywhere close to Noah. At best, he will be an annoying player who will scrap for rebounds and play decent defense. He could be a really good player for the Suns or Golden State but he doesn't fit in with the Bulls needs.

He was the 3rd best player on Florida last year(Horford and Brewer) and an argument could be made that others were better. He had a famous dad, was very animated, and had a really great tournament the year before so he got a ton of hype.

I don't think the Bulls are in a good position at 9 to get anyone they really need.

I would love to get Brewer(and then trade Gordon), Horford, Hawes, or even Yi.

I don't think they'll get any of them.

The answer is yes. He's returning to Georgetown.

Is it possible that the Bulls go after an Acie Law type tough point guard with the 9 assuming they can't get a scorer for the block?

How about a trade involving Hinrich and drafting Conley Jr. They may not get their big man but I think it would be a net positive impact.

With Hibbert going back to G'town, I hope Hawes doesn't rise too far up the board. I'd like him at 9. And I also don't want anything to do with Noah. Isn't he a similar player to Tyrus Thomas (defense, rebounding, questionable on offense)?

If I were Portland, I'd take Durant over Oden.

I see Noah as an Etan Thomas type of big man. Not just because of the long hair, either.

Hinrich is BYC this year and very difficult to trade.

I like the thought though and considered it myself as well. More realistically, you might consider targeting Conley, letting him get acclimated, and trading Hinrich next offseason when he's worth an even $10 mil with no strings attached.
