New Christopher McQuarrie movie starring everyone's favorite midget cult leader. Looks like it could be good.

The book series is fantastic. The problem is Jack Reacher is 6'5" and 250 lbs of muscle. That is pretty significant to how he handles situations. I don't see how they cast that dipshit for this role and it pisses me off because the right casting and this could be similar to a Bond type series with several installments in the franchise. License to print money

There aren't any 6'5", 250 lb actors in Hollywood really. Basically, if you want a good actor to play an action role you have the following choices:

Tom Cruise
Jeremy Renner
Matt Damon
Christian Bale
Daniel Craig

The other four already have their own series.

Edit: From what I hear, Cruise is gonna be out of MI movies and Renner will take over both the Bourne series and MI series.

He doesn't have to be 6'5" but at least 6" would be nice. Cruise is what 5'4" in lifts?

Cruise is not a really good actor. He's the worst big name in actor in Hollywood. Jackref is right, total miscast. When I read the synopsis I thought this looked cool. Then I saw the trailor and immediately thought of Nic Cage in Ghost Rider. Little chance I see this before it hits the played-five-times-a-week-on-TNT phase.
