Mr. Side, the AC unit that covers the second and third floors sometimes starts blowing hot air. I had it checked for low freon and that's not the issue. Is this merely a result of extremely hot weather? Or is there maybe something else wrong?

You have a seperate unit for the upper floors?
If you're blowing hot air, either the compressor isn't coming on for a couple reasons, or your airflow is poor, or you are JORR.
