Dismissed, Bill may be a genius but he is very wrong about this..in his own theory Wood could have given up another 3 hits and a run and still had a "better game" than many no hitters..it is completely flawed.

I agree with Frank Costanza - any perfect game, in my opinion, is superior to Kerry Wood's game.

This is where Bill James' fancy statistics fail. Can his fancy statistics measure the pressure of pitching in a World Series game against the National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers? No, of course not.

I am not a great genius like computer wizard Bill James, but I do know that no hits and/or baserunners is better than two baserunners.

This should be the biggest no-brainer in the history of earth. It has to be Don Larsen's perfect ninety-eight (98) pitch masterpiece in the 1956 World Series.

I was a fan of k wood for his 4 years or so the game was amazing..just not as good as perfect game or many no hitters..I think your love for Bill James is clouding your vision.
