I love Tactics, but no...Final Fantasy VII is a masterpiece. Tactics cannot beat its graphics, gameplay, mechanics, or story. Only VI and X come close to VII's story.

FFT is in team photo for best games ever made. VII is just in a league of it's own though

yea I was hoping it would be better. Gamespot gave it a slightly higher score. Watched both reviews, it looks like the game is basically a poor man's version of the recent Batman games. Similar combat and stealth, but terrible graphics and boss battles, plus very repetitive gameplay. they did say that swinging around town is fun so take that for whatever its worth.

Sounds like a pass to me.

Looks like I made the right choice rebuying Borderland (and getting all the DLC with the GOTY version) a couple weeks ago, that should keep me busy for at least another month and then from there its only a short wait till Borderlands 2 comes out.

Tell me what you think of Alan Wake. I thought it was lame... but I know others who thought the story was good. All ambience with a poor plot.

For the price, you won't be disappointed. It was hyped for years (and arrived late), so by the time I got it (new release) I was expecting more. Gameplay was pretty basic, but graphics definitely pretty. Ambience/Mood was pretty good, which got me excited at first. But the story didn't go anywhere and the frights didn't really have the same impact as the first Silent Hill or first couple Resident Evils.

My game playing generally revolves around sports games but I am intrigued at this Revolutionary War version of Assassins creed. Since I have never played any other games in the series, do you actually get to participate in the War and influence outcomes of battles or are you just this ninja guy in a ninja suit that crashes the battles?

Definitely not cancelled...so I'm hoping it becomes FFXV.

Ya know, Final Fantasy is just one of those series that I totally lost interest in when they made the transition to the PS2 and beyond. I have nothing against the linear style of gameplay....I'm just not that into them anymore.

This is bullshit...I was certain when they announced this at the 2010 VGAs that I would be playing this game in 2013.
