With Erin Andrews now joining FOX Sports, ESPN/ABC has announced that not 1, but 2 other women will replace Erin on the network's college football coverage this fall.

According to TheBigLead.com, Andrews' duties on "College GameDay" will be handled by Samantha Steele. For the very few who have access to the Longhorn Network, Steele worked the sidelines of Texas football games for the ESPN-powered outlet. She'll be replacing Jenn Brown this fall on ESPN's primetime Thursday night college football games with the three-man team of Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer & David Pollack calling the action.

Much like Andrews did the last 2 years, Steele will host the first hour of "College GameDay: Built by The Home Depot" live from the stadium at 8a (CT) Saturday mornings on ESPNU, DIRECTV 208, according to an ESPN spokesman. Steele will then become a feature reporter when "GameDay" shifts over to ESPN from 9-11a (CT) when Chris Fowler takes over hosting duties with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit & Desmond Howard.

The network has also announced that Heather Cox will replace Andrews as sideline reporter for the ESPN-produced "Saturday Night Football" package that Herbstreit & Brent Musburger will be describing again this season on ABC. NBA fans should know who Heather is, as she worked the sidelines of games that were described by the team of Mike Tirico & Hubie Brown this past season.
