No search function and don't feel like finding the thread for this. Best show on television that's not Game of Thrones. Season 5, the final season, starts in July, but they are doing the split season bs which seems to become more and more popular.

Season 1-3 are on Netflix. If you haven't seen it, you've been missing out.

A few months ago I watched every episode for the first time. If this isn't the best show on tv its definitely one of the nominees. Gonna rewatch the final two episodes from last season again just because of how awesome the ending is.

With this being the final season I imagine all sorts of shit is gonna go down!

I really hope the series ends awesomely. It's some of the best television ever put together.

Bitch.

its gotta end awesomely. its one of the few tv shows that has known its end date 2 years in advance. Plenty of time to put together an amazing finale season.

I'm just curious of the angles, especially since it's 2 8 episode chunks.

Ultimately it's got to come down to Walter vs. Hank, in my mind. They've teased and teased that Hank's on the trail but each time Walter's been a step ahead. That can't continue, especially with Walter's primary rival gone. I think it's going to come down to the name sake of the show: Jesse saying you can't "break bad." Walt's transition from meek spineless nothing into this methodical criminal mastermind has to come at a cost. He's come out of it all clean, and that doesn't smell right to me. Jesse's finally finding something good in his life and it wouldn't surprise me if Walter pushes him too far. So many great angles they could pursue to conclude the show. I'm stoked.

See, I was thinking they are going to go into Gus' past a lot more. That scene at that guys pool where he comments that he knows where Gus came from seemed to imply that's there a lot more to him that we ever knew. They always hinted as his roots etc, so would't be shocked to see those people coming up from South American to go after the great Heisenberg.

I think Walt is waiting for his time to look across the table at Hank and say, "Mr. Super Detective, the man who thinks so little of me, I am the man you have been looking for..."

Would be on par with the Walt and Skylar scene of, "I'm the one that knocks."

That final, truthful, powerful confrontation has been built-up so awesomely that it would likely make the Keyser Soze reveal scene seem like B-Movie fare - even sans surprise.

No doubt.

A cool way to for it to go down if Hank walks into an interrogation room thinking he will be grilling Heisenberg and there sits Walt.

Hank- Walt, get out of here, stop goofing around before my boss sees you, I have a major-
Walt (in a perfect Heisenberg voice)-Sit down Hank.

Ive watched 1-3 on Netflix...anyone know where I can watch 4 online? It started off super slow, like almost the entire first season. My buddy tells me season 4 is by far the best.

I watched seasons 1-3 over the winter.

I got season 4 Thursday and finished it yesterday. What an amazing show. Now I can watch the new eps this season. Can't wait.

Breaking Bad is one of the greatest TV shows in the history of Television. I hate to see this show end...but how does it end? Does Hank catch Walt & decide to let him go? Does Walt give Hank a piece of the action? Does Hank kill Walt? Does Walt kill Hank? Does Walt kill himself? Like Mad Men, I need to watch each episode a second time to fully understand the nuances of this show. I cant wait until July 15th.
If Dish Network doesn't resolve their dispute with AMC, I'm firing their asses.

I love how Walt has developed into this "Drug Lord" who kills to save his family, friend and especially his name and business. The guy started out as a pussy and timid Science teacher.

BUt by far my favorite character is Saul. The best lawyer character in movie history. He's such an asswipe but I love this guy.

For those of you with Dish Network, as you know, Dish dropped AMC. Up until a few days ago your only option to be able to watch Breaking Bad was to either buy the weekly episodes on ITunes or Amazon, but AMC will now stream tonights premier episode live on its website.

See link below:

BITE!

. . . Speaking of the way they like to start off a new season, of course - i.e. with a foreshadowing event that you have to wait the entire season to resolve!

Verrrrrry interesting - won't ruin it yet for those who are catching up on DVR, but it involves Walt growing his hair back.

I give the first Ep a solid 7 - if only because I've seen things get so much more spectacular with this very show.

Keep in mind, though (decoder ring): a "7" for this show is like an "11" for anything else.

My (most likely crazy) theory is it's in preparation for his final showdown with Hank.

THAT. WAS. AWESOME.

I love how Walt is basically Michael Corleone now, even his wife is afraid of him similar to Diane Keaton in Godfather 2.

I agree that the silent partners overseas are gonna come after Walt and that's why he's on the run with a huge gun, but I think we'll get to that scene long before the end of the season unlike previous seasons where we waited all year. For instance, the stuffed animal in the swimming pool that took all season to develop.

Keep in mind, this is the final season so it won't be ending on a cliffhanger.

I love that Mike is back in and hopefully will be teaming up with Walt and jesse throughout the season. He's a great character.

The Sopranos say "hi."

I thought of that when I was writing that post, but I didn't feel the need to mention it because it goes without saying that the viewers should have 100% confidence in this show because unlike the Sopranos, this show doesn't completely suck.

Sopranos was good for about 2 seasons. Then it was complete garbage and filler for the rest of its run. The shitty finale fit the shitty writing.

Breaking Bad, on the other hand, could arguably be the best show ever on television.

Its like comparing Michael Jordan to Brandon Roy.

The laptop will be shot, but the picture frame will lead somewhere.

Glad to see Mike back as well.
