Not at that point, you were not. You said a strikeout eliminates all chance of getting on base. It clearly does not. Catcher's interference doesn't happen all that often, but you can still get on base that way...even after a strikeout!

What it comes down to is that I corrected you on your error. Doesn't matter if its a 99% chance of a drop third strike, or a 1% chance of a drop third strike. A strikeout, in no way shape or form, eliminates all chance of a batter reaching base. I was (am) right, you were (are) wrong.
