Great managing right there. First base open, struggling pitcher, highly motivated right handed fucking hitter and left handed batter on deck who struggles vs left handed pitching. Lets pitch to the righty. Bobby V at his best.

Bobby V was at his best hosting overnights on ESPN Radio.

So far, the best part of this is seeing Humber give up nothing but a harmless infield single since the Sox gave him the lead again.

Curveball looked really good for the few innings I watched.

Atta Boy, Reeder. Way to nail that shit down. He needs to be in the team photo of Sox MVP's this season. I'm really looking forward to watching Pedro Hernandez pitch tomorrow night.

A change in plans for Boston's pitching rotation. You may have noticed Franklin Morales pitching in the Top 9th last night for the Red Sox. He was supposed to start Thursday vs. the White Sox' southpaw Jose Quintana. Instead, righty Clay Buchholz starts for Boston tomorrow night, and he's only 1-2 with a 6.53 ERA in 4 career starts vs. the White Sox.

So has the UN decided on the pitching yet?

We don't have to worry about U.N. Decided, RFDC. Dylan Axelrod toes the rubber Sunday in Detroit.

The usual starting 9 goes for the White Sox vs. lefty Felix Doubront tonight in Boston:

30 Alejandro De Aza (L) CF .278
20 Kevin Youkilis (R) 3B .260
32 Adam Dunn (L) DH .212
14 Paul Konerko (R) 1B .320
51 Alex Rios (R) RF .319
12 A.J. Pierzynski (L) C .291
24 Dayan Viciedo (R) LF .258
10 Alexei Ramirez (R) SS .266
15 Gordon Beckham (R) 2B .237

Pedro Hernandez makes his MLB debut tonight for the White Sox.

Who the fuck is Pedro Hernandez?

In other news, last night I learned 2 things.

1. Carlos Lee now plays for the fighting fish.

2. Bartolo Colon is still pitching.

He was recalled from Triple "A" Charlotte to start tonight's game. The Red Sox have also made a roster move. Infielder Mauro Gomez, a first baseman by trade, called up from Boston's Triple "A" Pawtucket team to fill David Ortiz's roster spot. Ortiz & his sore Achilles are now on the 15-day DL for the BoSox, says manager Bobby Valentine on their flagship WEEI SportsRadio this afternoon during his weekly visit to "The Big Show" there.

The Red Sox have made 3 notable changes once again in tonight's lineup. Those are in BOLD type, and here's how they'll deal with White Sox lefty Pedro Hernandez in his MLB debut:

2 Jacoby Ellsbury CF (L) .265
13 Carl Crawford LF (L) .571
7 Cody Ross RF (R) .262
28 Adrian Gonzalez 1B (L) .291
64 Will Middlebrooks 3B (R) .293
50 Mauro Gomez DH (R) .308
3 Mike Aviles SS (R) .263
10 Kelly Shoppach C (R) .271
77 Pedro Ciriaco 2B (R) .416

Felix Doubront toes the rubber for the Red Sox in the third of 4 at Fenway.

He was acquired from the Padres in the Carlos Quentin deal. He was 7-2 2.90 between double and triple A. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's got.

Guys, Pedro Hernandez will sport #58 in his ML debut tonight, just so you know.

Much better insight than SHARK provided. Thank you.

Also, SHARK, his number doesn't matter.
