Batman: You're going down Bane!

Bane: That's what your mother said last night!

I'm going tomorrow at 3:30. I watch about three movies per year in the theater. Maybe. Jacked.

Comparing the US to other Industrialized Nations in terms of gun related deaths. Getting angry.

Okay just home. Where to start,Hmmm.
I will start with previews. The most where blah like the Watch. Then it got dark and the DC Comics Logo went across the screen and it started. The voice ,then flashes all over. Wow Man of Steel looks good and I am a mediocre Big Blue Fan.
On to the movie,
Acting wise all did a good job I give really big props to Tom Hardy,he made Bane who is at best a two denominational Bad guy someone to be feared and watched.
Anne Hathaway was not only good but hot as hell. The first scene with her and Bale was one of the best acting wise in the movie. She hit the switch in her personality, demeanor and attitude on a dime.
Joseph Gorden-Levitt was a huge huge bright spot. Wow can he act makes you forget him when he was on third rock from the sun.

The movie itself never had a low point action or plot wise. It kept moving and keeping you involved the entire time, did not feel like a almost three hour movie.
Everything worked, I was totally into it for the entire movie. True it is not as good as Dark Knight but that was only because Ledger was that good. I mean there was not even really a throw away fight scene. They all where needed for the plot. Plot was great with a ton of twists and turns. Big surprise for me was the Judge, wow i am glad I did not go through cast list or read spoilers.
If Nolan and the movie do not get Oscar nods after all the bullshit praise and awards thrown at Cameron and Avatar, witch is the definition of an overrated movie.

I will add a couple other Comic book movie nuggets for those that want to know:
Bad guy in the next Ironman is played by Ben Kingsly(Mandarin)
They are doing both an Antman and a Guardians of the Galaxy movie
Only one Avenger will be in next Ironman movie, well one besides Tony Stark, lol

this is the fourth best trilogy ever made IMHO
Almost forgot 4.8 out of 5

4th best trilogy?

Dont even say Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, Superman or Matrix. I'm shocked.

I still haven't seen the first of this series, so I couldn't rate this trilogy.

I disagree with your list for a couple reasons, number 1, if 5 movies makes up the NJ trilogy, then all 6 star wars movies have to be taken in account for that trilogy, knocking it down a few pegs. Also, then the Indiana Jones trilogy comes into play.

That is your feelings. Those are mine. You may think they are wrong but sorry that is my opinion.
Indy was good but the second one was really kinda bad.

I don't think Indy can count as a trilogy, unless you disregard anything w/ Shia LaBeef.

You're right, I will not change your opinion, just trying to understand your logic in putting the NJ trilogy above Indy, Bourne, Die Hard, Iron Man, or Terminator.

I was using the NJ trilogy logic of only picking the first three movies of any series as a trilogy.

The first three are part of the official trilogy, the other 2 are part of a joke among Smith and his fans.

Can't count Iron man yet. Die Hard has more than three . Bourne I only have seen the first one so I can not comment. Terminator has more than 3.

I'm purposely being obtuse (I watched Shawshank today), mainly because I think (my opinion) that the NJ trilogy is not really a trilogy, even if you are just looking at the first three movies.

Can the TMNT movies of the 90s be counted as a trilogy? Or do you have to count the recent one, too, ergo making it a quadrilogy?

You're right. It's like the "Castle Rock Trilogy" of movies from Stephen King. Same town, different characters.
