The idea that they brought in Lesnar to specifically put over current talent makes sense, but that talent being Cena and Triple H, the two most protected guys since Hogan (and one of whom is a part-timer), is completely absurd.

I would hazard a guess that, initially, they were gung-ho for him to put over talent. However, since things apparently went to shit so fast, my guess is that now he's going to not so much just put people over but get buried .... which is something Vince does like to do to the people he really thinks "deserve" it.

Are these people really proud of themselves because they fagged it up enough to be shown on Raw?

Reason #7,315 I fucking hate people.

I would have to disagree with the Stephanie love - she sounds like a man and is morphing into Chyna with better makeup right before our eyes.

So this whole night is to show us how cool Raw used to be? Oh look here's the woman who's helping to ruin it.

yeah, that's the impression i got when i was seeing the vintage montage of ye olde stone cold / vince feud. the zambroni machine was unnecessarily awesome, but then again, so is pro wrasslin' and the whole of sports/entertainment in the first place!

still tho, an old passion of mine is grabbing old episodes of RAW IS WAR! (retired due to 9/11, just like the daily show calling itself "the most important television program.... ever!" * cue patting yourself on the back in the pursuit of "saving" comedy after the day "that changed everything"

but yeah, i remember the halcyon days of legend and lore that were the monday night wars. even when the WCW was essentially a zombified corpse of a program and the WWF didn't have to go out of its way to EFFORT putting out a quality product to crush the competition, the mere existence of another monday night wrestling option ensured that the show was better than it is now. i fondly reminisce over the glory days where monday nights involved getting an ounce of killer regs for $130 (and that was the expensive guy) and hanging out wiht the guys flipping back between WWF/WCW and rooting for the heterosexuals to win.... and then by 10:05 or thereabouts we'd bust out the old ECW tapes and a proper taste of "the business"

who remembers bam bam bigelow going through the damn ring? that was cool.

RIP monday nights, you used to be much cooler back when "the E" gave a damn about putting out a good product to crush and any all competition..... now it has none, unless you count TNA IMPACT! as competition.... which it *IS* on many levels given the recent crush the board has had on the actual ringwork being done, however, it's like a midmajor trying to compete with the rollin tide, you know?

speaking of tide, WHADDAP EAGLO JEFF!!!! </csfmbmeme>

ARGHHHHH NOOOOOO CLEFT LIP BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!';KSADJF;ADJSF;DJF;KAJSD

i first encountered the cleft lip baby in an omnipresent ad on the LIRR (long island railroad, the cooler LI equivalent of metra) back in 2007. it seemed that every damn car in every train i took had that cleft lip baby starting at me asking me to...... pay it to go away?

then a few years later i saw it in chicago. sparingly, thank you black baby jesus. however, seeing it on tv just now before it got healed by the magic of CGI brought back a cavalcade of memories that were suppressed for a reason!
