I'm not making this up...Has nothing to do with a player. It's pretty awful, even though the rain has stopped.

It was pretty crazy. Went out just before the game was to start and things looked fine. Nothing huge on the radar. I actually checked. Then heard the game was going to be delayed. About 2:20 you could water ski across some streets.

Beni, nobody thought anything of it, but it was supposed to be a passing shower that delayed the start of the Diamondbacks/Cubs' game at Wrigley today. Needless to say, it was far from a passing shower. Amazingly, the Cubs are actually going to try and play this ballgame. White Sox fans might not be thrilled though if the D-Backs/Cubs' game is still on and fans can't find Sox/Royals come 7p. Comcast SportsNet has BOTH games today.

:?: :?: :?:

I get that he peed on his hands, but I'm pretty sure pine tar is a much better choice than poop water for batting grip.

Perhaps it means that the Cubs signed Ohman

This is what The SCORE's David Schuster tweeted from the ballpark moments ago...

They're going to try and clear this mess...Too much $$$ at stake.

Perhaps its a response from the God's for people who think that a 20K game is better than a perfect game.

The Boyd Weather Center is reporting that it rained hard in Gurnee.

That is all.

OMFG IT'S RAINING!!!!!!!!!

the weather channel has a red bar on the bottom of the screen beeping at me telling me there's gusty winds and occasional downed branches and both channel 2 and channel 5 are both covering weather right now warning us of the OMFG RAIN OUTSIDE!!!!!!!! i'm sure if i watch this long enough they're going to tell me that it's wet and slippery outside and to watch out for downed water on the ground...

and on channel 2, when the weatherman finished his piece the anchor editorialized "its bad out there... thank you derek. speaking of bad, JAMES HOLMES was on trial in colorado"

btw whats up with the guy's two tone sideburns? nevermind.... lemme invoke stephen colbert and look skyward and raise my fist and scream out RAINNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then rainn wilson will show up make a funny face and we'll all be worse for the wear.

It's 6:43 and time for SHARK Sports. SHARK?

Raining pretty good over the border in Canada. Some very ominous thunder as well. I got soaked
this morning running to my garage.

It rained close to home for me. In addition to pitch black skies around 6A this morning, there's a tree in my neighbor's yard that got damaged to a point where Baby Rose can't use the swing that hangs. She loves that swing, but can't due to the damage.

serves them right

at least i got to see Aloe Blacc's performance before it got suspended

now watch, in a scene reminiscent of Lollapalooza 1992, there will be mud flinging, ripping of grass, etc. if it even does get back underway and Grant Park will be destroyed
