Why are people so afraid to voice their opinions about the message board on...........the message board. Bunch of fuckin' pussies...

LOL. i only posted that because I was consensused by Mr. Cairo as if that were a validation of opinion. Therefore I posted in kind.

Darkside. The "being married" thing wasn't the only thing that came across douchey. It was more like the entire post. It happens. Just accept that maybe you post a little pricky sometimes and you may not recognize it.

I love you enough about you to tell you this on the board and not via PM/Text.... :D

Fair enough. I post what I really think and what I would really say. I don't always have the most popular opinion. I can't be that guy. I can't only say what other people will agree with because I'm afraid of saying the wrong thing to someone.

I'll say this though. After 4-5 years of reading KC go on and on about failed relationships, I was a bit taken aback by how quickly he would dispence relationship advice. No lie there. Of course there were others as well. But yeah, I thought it was... strange. Sorry if that is an opinion that I am not entitled to but there's nothing I said there that isn't very well known public information.

So there you go. I guess I'm totally evil and deserve death.

Out of fairness, just because someone is married doesn't make them an expert in matrimonial dealings by default.

Hank, slow down. I think you're getting all emotional here. I don't recall saying that most marriages were 100% anything at all.

I think that if you and your life love each other there's no need for "petty ass kissey" actions. I'll stand by that. I think buying the wife a flower or something like that is going to be the wrong thing to do... here I'll make it better here's a flower. Man up, apologize if you did something wrong and if there is genuine love there that should suffice... My wife, though she married me, isn't stupid and would know if I was being condescending or did something fabricatred to "show her I love her". That's my experience. I'll share that with you.

Darkside, I had one failed relationship that I posted about on this board. One. And I regret ever doing it, mainly because of stuff like this.

This is all really fucked up man. I didn't think I did anything wrong in this thread by giving some of my thoughts.

You're making this very personal. Whatever man. You win.

Simmer down, Susan. No need to be all "woe is me". It was douchey. But at least you finally admitted Cairo was one of the people you were talking about.

From the looks of your post, you should have been the only one to give advice anyway... :D

Im sorry, I have to say this totally comes across like you're talking about Cairo specifically

Take out all the married guys in this thread and the guys who pretty much made jokes, the only single guy with a relatively new relationship is Cairo

Well that's like um your opinion man. So what if I was? Does that invalidate the point?

So...yeah...that was a fun read...

Nobody is necessarily disagreeing with your point(s). Your initial post was said in a very "high horse" manner, thats all. I clearly wasn't the only one who took it that way.

If Seacrest or NSJ posted the same thing, they would have been questioned in the exact same way.

It's not a bit. The point I was trying to make, which I didn't make very well, is that you shouldn't have to show her you love her. At least not with "take her to a date!" or "buy her a flower" or "Girls like chocolate".

Maybe I should have said that you should show her you love her by not fucking up in the first place. Show her you love her everyday by being good to her, not by trying to buy her off with petty material posessions or cheapened trinkets.

You can, and should, learn a lot from a failed long term relationship. To say otherwise is just ignorant.

In my experience most women appreciate you going the extra mile and showing them that you realize you fucked up. Just because your wife may not be that way certainly doesnt mean the rest of the world is 'doing it wrong'. I'm not saying buying flowers fixes a problem but after a fight and things have calmed down or just out of the blue, flowers are nice way to show that she isnt taken for granted.

Well. Since you aren't a guy who has ever done anything to ever upset your wife......ever, maybe you aren't qualified to give advice here.

Again. Your "advice" wasn't really advice at all it was more of a statement about how great your marriage is. I can't speak for Hatchetman, but that doesn't seem like the sort of thing he was searching for.

"Don't fuck up in the first place".

 ^ You did it again. Can't help it...

I completely agree. If I make a douchey remark that inadvertantly specifically addresses a particular CSFMBWA member as being a poo-face, it is completely his fault for getting offended.
